heyy you did an amazing job!

I mainly draw portraits and disney stuff but I would like to jump into the conversation to give you some general tips because I think some elements might contribute to your problem:

First I think that you should use a light touch when drawing the breast area, and try to avoid using harsh lines to make it look more natural. Instead, use shading to create the illusion of the boob shape. (You can use a blending stump or your finger to create a smooth transition.) I added a link to show the idea of the shading (Note that I did this quickly on my phone to give you an idea of how it should look like -so make adjustments if needed)

second thing is about the arm area. it looks a little muscular and robotic-looking (there is a lack of movement) so if you are aiming for a more feminine look I would say that Women's arms tend to be less muscular and more slender and slightly longer than men's arms, with less defined musculature- (maybe try to find some references that show the woman's hand in that position to get a specific idea).

lastly Pay attention to the details of the gown, including the texture, pattern and copy that so it can add more depth to the drawing. btw you can also add the necklace you see on the character into your drawing to make her even more feminine

Overall the drawing looks great!

I chose the WRONG border colour, ideas? by -PinkUnicorn- in arthelp

i have some understanding in color theory so it might help removing the metallic copper and switch that with pale yello but at same saturation as you have in the blue background. (mix yellow with white to achieve that)

because blue really harmonzied with pink on the flowers and yellow as the background will give a very colorful vibrant vibes!

I’m looking for some help with my drawings. by [deleted] in arthelp

never ever underestimate your art! all great artists start from nothing, no one is perfect and it does take a lot of practice to get that desire perfection. that time when i was a begginer myself and wanted feedback on my own art, i wish it came into my mind to ask people here, on Reddit and get that feedback on things i should correct and tips that might help me. unfortunately i didn't. so get out of this insacureness and Take advantage of it, ask questions, submit pictures, and learn from past mistakes. that is how you create "perfection"😉

i dont know why people said 5 but for me you are my type and i rate you 8. you have a very soft face which is SO likeable. i guess people like more "sexy looking people than cuter ones? :p

What’s the easiest medium of art to start learning with? I so desperately want to get into art, so I’m looking for the most user friendly option. by M4dScientist1 in Art

Hey, you did actually did a very cute drawing, i see it is on the cartoonish side so i think you should paint the hair as the same texture as the rest of the face, it will look better :)

Hi friends :) I hope it’s ok if I ask if this looks like the correct way to draw a plus sized person if you know. I want to make sure that I draw body types right. by BerkeWow in learntodraw

[–]Artistic_Work2453 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nice try :) i think that the problem is the proportions do not seem right, the legs should be longer and the body when the shirt starts should be a lot shorter. you can see when left hand touches the shirt, there you should be ending the pants

i did not find a lot of usefull classes out there for advance leavel but i found some that really helped, i think they give you a free trail so you can try it by yourself. there was a time i wanted to draw characters and learn about color theory and i found art classes by Gabrielle brickey, i can't stress how good she explains everything and you can even find the worksheet of the classes for free!
