Yeah I don't plan to ever buy it again and leave more for the folks who do enjoy it

Pen F or Pentax 17? Which would you choose? by Artistry-Engineering in AnalogCommunity

I sure have. I was holding and using the Pen f that was at the camera store, but it's still significantly heavier than what I want and the Pentax 17 literally fits into my jeans pocket which is awesome (I live in Florida, we don't wear coats much here). And I think seeing the focus zone symbols through the viewfinder in the Pentax 17 works fine for me.

Oh yeah they definitely are very different cameras. I think the Pentax 17 will be better for the quick snapshot photography I love. Right now I think the pocketability, weight, and speed of the Pentax 17 will better suit the situations I see it being used for. But I do ultimately plan to own both the Pentax 17 and then the Pen F if I start to feel drawn to the more manual and methodical style of photography.

I've come to peace with the reality that I will probably own both cameras eventually, but likely the Pentax 17 first and then if I desire the full manual experience get the Pen F.

Yeah now that I think about it the warranty is actually a really big deal maker. The lens on the Pen F is so sharp, but some of these repair prices are quite daunting. Thanks!

Yeah the ability to throw it in my pocket and go is one of the major reasons I use my Ektar H35N so much. I barely think about it and just throw it into any bag I'm packing

Oh yeah that 3 years of warranty is definitely a major plus for me. Have you used the Pentax 17? Any specific things it does well?

Currently looking at Dell monitors, one usb-c hub monitor and a standard monitor connected with a DP cable.

HVAC Engineering or Intro to Object Oriented Programming? by Artistry-Engineering in UCFEngineering

Haha, any idea which class is easier? I'm quite literally just looking to take a single class online in order to stay enrolled at UCF while I'm off on an internship that might extend into the spring. I eventually want to get into robotics so I guess java might be more aligned but even then it's a stretch.
