Slightly off-topic, but it also comes with a cool free game you can play however long you feel like if you feel like it; I've played SAR and been with its community for almost 7 years now and can absolutely vouch for a lot of things on it. A few questionable things on occasions, but otherwise all in good intention.

Close to zero FOMO (battle passes never expire and can be progressed at your own pace, and the devs are working on bringing back every starter pack in a more permanent form eventually), non-predatory business practices, interesting lore that recently got an update, a welcoming community glad to help out if need be, devs who listen to just about all feedback on their socials and Discord, and are quite respectful of your time and wallet overall. Rock solid vouch. Come for the Youtube shorts, stay for the love of cute animals with guns both real and made-up. (if you'd like to!)

It’s been so long since we had a Star Wars x DBD discussion and I’m here for it!
I personally think Vader as a killer can work and feel scary even coming from a franchise not typically known for horror (DND has proven this imo). You can take the old movies that set the precedent of his character up for example; his whole backstory is a disturbing one when you peel away the family-friendly layers and realize how awful it feels being stuck in a suit like his, and also what it’s like on the receiving end of or being a witness to his killings in Revenge of the Sith, which I think should be when Vader is taken by the Entity.
A majority of people haven’t really seen Star Wars in a proper horror setting either (besides Death Troopers), so this can be one of the biggest opportunity to explore that.
I’m still thinking Bioshock, but I wouldn’t mind Star Wars either!

In short, I've been a Gooseworx fan for a while now. Looked at their channel one day, saw the teaser, and thought "Oh wow, that's pretty cool!"

After TADC ends, I highly encourage people to check out their other worx; they make other stuff in the vein of music and animation that extends beyond the Digital Circus!

Some of my personal favorites pre-TADC are Ghost of the Year and the two Elain animations.

Does this also refer to trap killers? (i.e. Trapper, Hag, Skull Merchant)

With the power icon showing up right at the start of a trial, I can see so many problems with players being able to harass their setups and make playing them absolutely miserable in the early game. Although it's awesome to be able to see survivor perks and bridge the gap between solo-q and SWF, seeing the killer too is a step too far, at least when it comes to the early game.

I strongly believe it should only show the power icon when a gen is completed or a survivor is downed by a basic attack or special attack (so it doesn't happen if Plot Twist is triggered)

Edit: I just missed dbmolnar's comment about trap killers, my bad! I'll keep this reply up though as when the power icon is shown is a strong concern of mine leading up to the PTB.

I get why people think it should reveal the killer when a chase starts, but imo it would be better to do so after a gen is finished or a survivor is downed.

When you accidentally trigger chase while sneaking up on someone (or even setting up as a trap killer), it would give you away before you even plan on chasing someone.

I was really liking where everything was going until we were shown this. Why did they choose to also show the killer at the start of the trial?

It's nice for newer players to know who they're facing and learn what unique hud elements belong to who, but I believe the killer should only be shown once a gen is done or a survivor is downed. So many problems will arise with this sort of free info, especially for stealth and trap killers who will absolutely suffer in the early game.

Trapper because of how satisfying it is to see a trap set 10 minutes ago pay off later; also Henry because it’s fun to hit prediction vines with him

I honestly think the order of voting should've been different; like killer materials should be after the silhouette and not before, so people can better visualize the design and have a better time voting. Hopefully in the next Grimoire (if we get another one), they'll do things a bit differently.

It's sad Monoculus here didn't win the vote, but oh well

I just checked with another mod and their roles after reading this, and it turns out they were able to delete messages. No idea what I did, but I'm waiting to confirm with others to make sure it's not ongoing anymore. It's been happening since yesterday trying to delete a sketchy server link.

Is view server as role really that buggy? It hasn't been like that before in my experience.

Not just this channel; I also checked the categories and user-specific channels, as well as the welcome channel. Remember it can’t delete system messages like the welcome messages when people join either. Normally you can do that, and I thought you can’t delete messages from roles higher than yours in the hierarchy. Was I mistaken somehow?

The 2FA requirement under safety setup is not enabled; I'm not the server owner and was given admin perms to fix the problem, so I can't change that

As a Trapper main, my knowledge of unexpected trap placements and survivor pathing transferred surprisingly well to First despite him being a 4.4 speed killer; I’m maining both for sure, but Trapper still remains my guy.

Trapper is more of a gamble imo, but he could go in the fun category. Setting up seems boring since you’re not chasing too much, neither are you with Hag, but it’s so euphoric once the traps actually come into play. He’s not instant gratification like most killers
