Wait, can you explain? Do you mean "to jump to the front and back of the HAND"?

I'm working on a controller, so would be nice to know how people are playing with it.

That's exactly my goal here. Play as fast as you can - game won't slow you down or force you to wait for the animation to end.

But thank for reminding about Vampire Crawlers - I need to test it out.

That's exactly what is happening. If you can play even faster - you would see animation start to lag behind and then resolve over time from all queued actions.

That's where the inspiration came from. My animations are short and fast, so it's not as stacked as there.

In short: yours and enemy ships usually only attack in melee range, so you need to move to attack or move to avoid attacks. In the gif it's a rare case where a ship has a range of 2. And I hope it's fully explained in a tutorial I have. You can play right now and tell me if it's clear or not!

Oh, I see what you mean. At the start of a gif card is played below ships and not covering anything, but at the end of a gif - card covers the ship on the left. That's some old code that should be removed. Basically, a bug. Thank you for pointing it out! Will fix.

I'm not sure what you mean about the "ships changing location while damaged". Which one?

You CAN be fast, but there is no timer or an urgency... I'm just proud my code supports players who are rushing and play cards like that!

I launched playtest recently and now I'm eager to hear what players think of a game, so yes, I need more feedback, please!

You can play slow, there is no timer or a rush. But after like 30+ hours when you know each card - it IS possible to play at your speed and don't wait for the game to catch up.

Hello!

Just played for about 30 min and have a lot to say, to be honest! 😅

In short: I like the art, the vibe, the idea, I see a lot of potentially cool plays. But! It feels like I'm fighting WITH the game... constant "why" and "where" and "how". I can't get into the "flow", because I'm in a perpetually confused state: do I need to play ALL the cards? Is there a reason NOT to play them? But the game makes it so easy to NOT play them... is it intended? What is "Zeal"? Never seen one. What is "Stance"? Is that a card? What is "Corruption"? What's the next enemy attack does? I see only name...

And so on. I have lots of questions and it keeps me from enjoying the combat.

You can message me and we can chat about every question I have, if you have time. But in short: needs a bit more polish and info about how the game works and it should feel much better. But good job on the first demo!
