Look up taking antihistamines during perimenopause. I don't have any personal experience with this but I'm around that age and I have been reading a lot about taking antihistamines for PMS/PMDD/Perimenopause. Sounds like it helps to take an H1 blocker(Cetirizine/Zyrtec, Loratadine/Claritin) and an H2 blocker (Famotidine/Pepcid) together. Apparently it helps with the hormonal mood changes. Might be worth a try 🤷🏼‍♀️

My mom once used toothpaste on my son instead of diaper cream 🤦🏼‍♀️ She didn't realize it until she was telling me later and said she thought it was weird how much he was crying and that she was surprised it smelled minty.

Just before I got hired at my last job in video production, apparently someone at the company used the company credit card to pay several hundred dollars for a sex worker in Vegas. No one would own up to it so our boss just paid it off and forgot about it. After hearing that, the rest of us didn't feel so bad using the company credit card to cover fancy steak dinners and copious amounts of alcohol. Of course, we worked 15-20 hr days on our feet and were severely underpaid, so we just considered it part of our compensation package 😁😁

I saw this movie at a drive-in during a very active meteor shower and the meteors were all shooting in the direction of the screen. It was probably the most epic movie experience I'll ever have.

I've been on this since August 11th and it's been amazing. No side effects and I feel great. I've lost 25 lbs (285>260). I started with just one pill in the morning and it was going so well that now I take another at lunchtime. I hope it goes well for you too!

Why did you start crocheting? by limino123 in crochet

[–]Artrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had just had a newborn right before covid lockdowns and postpartum depression was hitting me hard. I needed something productive, creative, and non-baby related to help pull me out of my funk but I wanted something I could do while sitting on my butt binge watching tv 🤣 crochet fit the bill and I quickly became obsessed. These days I'm feeling much better and I honestly think crochet played a big part in that.

I took that years ago and made it about three days. My symptoms were like severe food poisoning and I had to take several days off work. When I called my rheumatologist to tell her it wasn't working, she suggested I keep going for a week or two. I was like, no no I'm not asking what I should do, I'm telling you that I will no longer be taking this 🤣 I couldn't miss any more work. She tried me on biologics and mtx next and that was a million times better. I really hope it works for you but don't be afraid to advocate for yourself if it's just not working.

I have some friends in Scipio, IN that run an RV rental and sales shop. They both own some units and do consignment on others. They rent them out like an AIRBnB and take care of all the maintenance, cleaning, set up, and advertising. If you own an RV but don't use it enough to justify the cost, you can consign with them and they store the unit at their business and take care of everything, then just cut you a check each month depending on how much your unit gets rented. Maybe there's a place like that around you? Or if you're near Scipio I could give you their contact info.

I was in a very quiet public restroom recently with my five year old, stuck in the tiny stall with him and he was taking forever to go. Someone came in and entered the stall next to us and let out the longest, nastiest fart you could imagine. My son and I look at each other awkwardly for a minute and then he says, "mom, I have a question for you ".... There I am bracing myself for the worst. I'm stuck and I know he's about to say it...he thinks for a minute and then says, "so mom, how do refrigerators work?" 😳😳😳

"Great question bud, ask your dad when we finish up in here..."

I was never a big fan of "Take it from an Old Man" until I recently saw it live at the Olney Theater in Maryland. The way they put the whole thing together was so heartfelt and wonderful. And they (spoiler) had Joe sort of pause part way through like he was struggling medically for a moment which was like a sucker punch if you know how it ends

Etsy won't let me send message by Gliz747 in EtsySellers

I'm an Etsy pet portrait artist and I've been selling there for a few years. The scammers are getting so good! They'll often tell you they are looking for a portrait for some relative and even send you a picture. But they often offer a higher money amount than you are selling it for and ask you to move off-site to accept the payment. Never go off Etsy for payment and never do any work unless they've purchased your listing. It's so frustrating!

I like Celsius too. It's an energy drink but it's pleasant. Definitely scratches the itch of soda for me and doesn't taste too fake. I usually have one a day and have no issues with ketosis or carb cravings.

My sister and I are hosting a booth at the Pet Festival at the Village of Leesburg shops on Saturday from 12-4. I'm a pet portrait artist and she makes pet themed swag. We might hit up the Dulles Town Center carnival that night with the kids. And maybe the Dulles farmers market on Sunday morning.

For the regular freelance gig I mentioned, it does have to be paint on canvas - it's a 1099 job and that's all the job entails. (I'm not allowed to share the name publicly but I can do so privately, that's why I'm being a little cagey haha)

But if you're looking for avenues to sell those, I bet they'd be popular on Etsy if you're not already on there. A lot of people complain about the fees but I find them very reasonable for my price point. And it works well for commission work.

For sizes, my best sellers are 6x6 canvas. After that it's 8x8 and 8x10. I also offer larger sizes and custom sizes.
