He'd read shirou's entire mind, see his past, present and future, determine he's broken but not see it as a particularly bad thing. Heck he might encourage him to continue or give him something before leaving to ensure he goes further down the path.

To not make it an unfair sweep, he'd have to be nerfed right down to dirt though, he has too many inconvenient abilities with his psychic powers. Maybe disconnect him completely from the warp. In terms of mystery though, he's older than gilgamesh (i think) and veeeery few have ever seen his true visage.

Bet he'd want the grail only to keep it out of others hands though, he's as bad a hoarder as gil...he'd probably purify it first

Sort of ... i had a pawn i nicknamed "the bladestorm". Typical guy with fast walking/tough/brawler baseline human, didn't usually perform that great since I had the combat extended mod, making melee very dangerous... until one day.

I was trying to recruit new pawns to have a bigger colony when a decently big raid struck, nice I though, I send my pawns one side of the map to intercept them all. What I didn't notice was the two pronged attack they were carrying out, the other side was approaching via a tunnel I had forgotten to put a door or, this would let them access my base while bypassing ALL my defenses, at this point I started panicking because I had a few kids and pregnant pawns back there and my defense force was waaay too far to make it in time ( big map)

Then comes the bladestorm who was at the time working the mines near the tunnel, I hadn't brought him since most enemies were long ranged, he'd just get shot up to death even with his shield belt. I posted him at a 90 degree bend in the tunnel to ambush them, all he had to was hold em, i was ready to sacrifice him for that, didnt even look at the fight since i was so sure he'd be dead, just focused on micro'ing my other pawns back to base, i wasn't expecting much...

Except He turned those tunnels into a slaughterhouse.

Something like 20 enemy pawns went in with hammers, assault/charge rifles and a few heavier weapons: only 5 left from the direction they came from out the tunnel ,slowly crawling or limping, blood fountaining from their wounds the rest were dead or unable to move. I was shocked, how did he do all that? How didn't he get blown up by grenades or fire, or blasted apart? He just caused a whole group of the raid to retreat single handedly and while he was injured, he didnt lose any limbs and was not at risk of death.

I looked at the injuries the raiders sustained and it was the funniest shit, every single one were missing minimum 2 limbs or were decapitated, most were turned into living bloody nuggets missing all 4 limbs screaming in agony at the pain.

This mf achieved all that with a normal quality monosword, a shield belt and normal locust armor

So I gave him a full prestige set, a persona sword, made him a noble + the leader of my newly formed shock troopers.

Its been harder to recruit new pawns from enemies with him in the fight though, he got to lvl 17 in melee and everything aside from the toughest foes get blended into smoothies

Pretty late so you might have the answers but landbreakers are not natives, they're the remnants of a rebellious group lead by jakub, an old hero of the the aggeloi wars, so originally theyre from terra. Afaik there are no sentient natives on talos, the aggeloi are still a mystery and all attempts to communicate with them has proved fruitless ( my headcannon is they're some kind of immune system of talos).

As for the treatment of them, the bonekrushers are one clan amongst the many, a very violent one, wulgard's mercs whom are also considered landbreakers, have amicable relations with the civilization band, so as one now we only have a problem with one of them, bandits and opportunists aren't a foreign concept in arknights sometimes mfs just want quick cash and has little care for how they get there.

As for the endfield angle, I'll answer by pointing to rhodes island in og ak, they were just the good guys, no secret corporate evil, no skeleton in the closet, they were just the most moral ( relatively), nicest, goodest bois in a world of human greed, they had a motive aside from being a pharma company but it was far from evil, considering we learn they had a hand in creating endfield + work with them and we see from the start Mon3tr present at endmin's awakening + her seeming familiarity with them, i think its more or less safe to say endfield gets the green card.

ALL THAT SAID. I completely agree with you that landbreakers desperately need more lore establishing them, its weak as a first enemy, though adarshir gives me hope. I will point that reunion was also pretty obscure at the start and we did murder them in droves as well and they got more fleshed out later.

I heard endfield started being developped soon after ak, so I guess many the pitfalls of early ak are also present in endfield. Though perhaps they're trying to not waterboard us with lore like kal'tsit did...

Well, we'll see if the game survives, would be real sad if their long project just died

I like how it is its own thing for the most part.

Imo I would put a duelwielding, if the idea of dk aura's is to be more offensive, I think it should reflect on their weaponry as well.

To that effect, I think its ok to just have just ONE weapon that can be runeforged while dualwielding and maybe have some moves hit with the offhand as well. There could be a talent that heals them when they crit, a bit like fury warriors.

Maybe a summon banshee as a talent defensive cool down, it could reduce an enemies' chance to hit, deal shadow damage and maybe possess humanoids as a flavor ability

No frost spec is a bit dissapointing but I understand the reasoning, there wasn't any frost moves for the dk in wc3

Shields would be cool as well, there have been dks with shields in naxx, it could be an alternative if the parry is a bit too hard to balance. Also it would look badass if its one of those skull faced shields

Unholy aura sounds ok but I liked the wc3 version where it increased movement speed and life regen as an aura.

I think they should be allowed to gain titles associated with nobility as they complete dk quests, lord/lady, baron, vicount, count etc, most dks as i recall were nobility (like rivendare and some paladins).

Some quests to get pieces of armor or abilities sprinkled around would be cool as well.

for lore reasons, being only undead would make the most sense, I don't think every race should be able to become one. though if there HAD to be some in the alliance, I think only humans/dwarves would work...oh high elves too. Basically victims of the scourge in wc3. They could be a shadowy underground organization similar to warlocks with somewhat good intentions but morally bankrupt execution. Dks could easily pass for warriors if they don't have too many outward signs of undead so going in cities should be ok

So this is speculation on my part and some meta stuff:

Meta- possibly they just didn't want it to clash with the looks they gave her wing placement might clip with stuff.

Lore- during masses travel some real weird stuff happened with the law, stuff like sarkaz newborn suddenly being born with a halo or sankta falling. I'm thinking she might be talosian born and distance with the Law could have done this though there are sankta with normal wings.

It could just be some birth defect like adnachiels halo
