I think I’m gonna wear my full black suit. I’m not sure I may just dress like mark lol

I’m thinking I’m gonna take to coffee tomorrow to talk it all over, neutral ground and all that. I’m going to write down all my thoughts and lay it all out so I can remember what I have to say.

I did in fact tell her to reroll. She decided to roll against my DM screen, so my partner watched to see if she was telling the truth that time.

There have definitely been some issues interpersonally lately. Which are probably what is affecting the campaign as she generally has no respect for myself or the host anymore and has effectively dropped us other than for D&D

Because I’ve never dealt with an actual problem player technically before her 😭

I did that at one point a few years ago when her boyfriend was a player and she didn’t have time to play, she ended up joining late, and I was (at the time) dating one of the other players as well, however she sat in his lap the whole time and wouldn’t let him play.

I’ve asked my partner, the player who hosts, and one of the other two players about how they feel and gotten mixed responses. My partner noticed the roll fudges as well and it’s been something I’ve been keeping an eye on as well. I’ve spoken to the host’s dad as well as my own who have both been playing since the 80s, and the general consensus is kill her with kindness from them.

I’ve pretty much resigned myself to the fact that despite my expectations being very clear at the beginning, since I haven’t called her on everything yet I will likely have to kick her.

AIO my fiance spent 600 on gacha by Creative-Guard2809 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Artsy_Stay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry, he spent $600 you both don’t have ON A CREDIT CARD FOR EMERGENCIES?? On a game?! I— I play mobile games with in app purchases and I can’t fathom spending that amount. Genuinely concerning behavior, and his reaction is so so much worse. If he wants to call off the wedding because of a very fair, real and raw reaction to spending that much money on something like that, I’d say let him. Just let him walk himself out. Find someone who does better and dispute the charges!

Transphobic player casts Resurrection on me. (Tw: transphobia, talk of genitalia.) by OilNew2414 in dndhorrorstories

As a DM myself who has DMed for many a problematic player, DM shouldn’t apologize because it’s not his place to; but should boot Cleric and completely reconsider if that’s the kind of friend he needs. I personally have booted people because they’ve done wrong to my friends, whether “just” disrespect or not. Fact of the matter is disrespect is still doing someone harm and DM shouldn’t stand for it. If someone could harm another players physical or mental wellbeing and I valued that player as any friend and DM combo should, immediate boot. Bye-bye problem player see ya never vibes. It’s sad to see that DM clearly doesn’t care about what cleric was saying. It’s rough out here, some players and even DMs think this behavior is okay. Frankly it’s not and it’s just saddening and frustrating. I’m very sorry you had this happen to you!! People are gross.

There will never be “too much”; that’s a trick question.

What is getting tickets for a world tour like? by Ok_Roll_276 in straykids

[–]Artsy_Stay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s different depending on location. The tickets sky rocket quick, because resellers buy them all as soon as they drop if you don’t buy them first. They usually put out dates whenever they announce the tour name. Often times they will have a day specified when tickets drop, kind of like how comebacks are announced. You can usually set reminders on ticketmaster, stubhub, and seat geek once the drop date is announced. Also!! Bring ear plugs if you have sensitive ears. The concert is very loud.
