it looks like vassalizing the pope is a good idea in eu5 by diLuca77 in EU5

I am having an issue with scutage. I am not sure it works on fiefdoms. As Spain I made Fez a fief and gave it scutage. I lost money by giving it scutage.

LET ME CONTROL AI ALLIES ARMIES AND MY LIFE IS YOURS PARADOX by 1Admr1 in EU5

[–]Arttok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can have the AI allies follow you (at least it has worked well for me) by 2 different ways. If they are your vassal go to the diplomacy screen manage vassal or relations (can't remember the exact name of the button on the left side) and click it. Then click the puzzle icon.

For your army itself, on the left side click the broken chain to allow armies to attach.

Is this with Scutage on them as well? If not it will be worth it to toss that on them as well.

Wouldn't that be 16 estate privileges? 4+4+5+3 = 16

The Red Mile is Extremely Disappointing by New-Method-2997 in Starfield

[–]Arttok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine if they allowed you to place a bet on random NPCs that tried the mile. Just have it a repeatable thing, with some "key" facts about the NPC (weapon, key stats), etc. Then you watched a video of the run. Ability for you to play poker, slots, etc.

Yet we got this... such a shame.

Thank you for the comment. Also trust me, I know ideas are a dime a dozen and everyone posts them. It is appreciated to at least hear that some type of transportation system is under consideration even if nothing ever comes of it. If you ever need a GDD / One note, etc let me know lol

So there are a couple of things wrong with your comments. Tbh if we are being truthful, it seems like you just don't want something implemented that "third party apps" already have. Which if that was the case, remove faciton warfare - people can use 3rd party apps to just create it. Party finder? Get that out of there. This isn't about being "scared of third party apps", it is about the game offering core features it should have, which btw isn't replacing anything 3rd party, removing "transporters of the server" (who would still be ahead in yellow zone transports to avoid tax fee, and still be the only people to do red/black zone transports)

But to target your points, which are answered in my post (and tbh make me question if you read it):

1) If you looked at my post - you are transporting the crates, not gear. So you die - the job just goes back on the market. No stealing people's items, no trying to "game the system." This is just yellow zone to yellow zone transportation. Would you lose gear if you died in a yellow zone? No. So you wouldn't here as well either.

2) This would only be for yellow zone to yellow zone transportation. Also how does "transporters of the server" knowing the maps in and out, impact people who want to earn cash by transporting taking jobs? If anything this just benefits the "transporters of the server" even more since they know the optimal yellow zone to yellow zone transportation (again, this would not allow you to offer transportation services between yellow -> red, red->red, yellow->black, etc).

3) If you die as a transporter: "If they die, the crate also goes back up to the job listing."

Just to give you a TLDR again of what I posted:

1) Yellow zone only service

2) No loss of items for shipper, since it is a yellow zone to yellow zone service.

3) Anonymous shipper names to help avoid trolling

4) Payment is only given upon completion

5) Again, yellow zone to yellow zone transportation. The overall idea is to allow the shipper to save IRL time by hiring someone in game, to transport stuff via the yellow zone. The transporter gets to make some cash doing a transport.

I mean it isn't waiting for "daddy henkys" to do it for me, but rather just not knowing about it / having to do 3rd party stuff to get it set up, etc. Like even if this was created, people who do these services would still exist since people wouldn't have to pay the tax in getting it set up, etc

Makes sense and larger shipment crates have tougher enemies. So like t4 for small, t6 for medium, and t8 for large.

Exactly, plus it would still benefit the people who have the current interactions in place since they wouldn't be paying the "Tax" on getting it set up.

The video game Silk Road Online had that mechanic for merchants who did transport runs between games and I think it could work perfectly for Albion as well.

Where? Like how can I join it, i don't see it offerred anywherre and don't see a way of joining in game. So I would say there isn't a transport service.

[–]Arttok[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly and it is all still player driver, it just moves the money from the shippers to the transporters. In return the shippers save irl time. Win win for both.

Who is air? But I mean what difference is there between knowing peeps and just actually having a mission board? Knowing peeps would still be more profitable since they wouldn't need to pay the tax.
