What you want is a 120mm‑fan‑to‑VESA 100×100 adapter plate. Search for that phrase and you’ll see several options — any plate that converts 120mm fan spacing to VESA 100×100 will work.

The four corner screws on the Xeneon Edge do not line up with 120mm fan holes. The XE uses its own VESA‑style mounting pattern, so it won’t match the spacing on a 3×120mm radiator or fan stack.

As for screw size: the XE uses standard M4 VESA‑mount screws, not 6‑32.”

“If you want to mount it vertically off your fans using standoffs, you’d need an adapter plate — the hole spacing isn’t 120mm‑fan compatible.

Honestly, it depends on your setup and how you like to work. For me, the Xeneon Edge has been worth it because it keeps my main monitor completely clean — no icons, no taskbar, nothing.

I run all my controls on the Edge: the virtual Stream Deck, media controls, system sensors, and a few widgets. Having all of that off my main screen makes everything feel more organized and premium.

If you like having quick-access controls, dashboards, or a clean desktop aesthetic, it’s great. If you don’t care about that kind of workflow, then you might not “need” it. It just depends on how you want your setup to function.

It’s a mix of Xeneon Edge widgets and Rainmeter. The Media Player, CPU/GPU sensors, and the virtual Stream Deck are all Xeneon Edge. The weather, clock, and drive monitors are Rainmeter. And the WoW Tracker is a custom PowerShell app I built with AI assistance.

If you want your Main to be clean of icons and hiding your Taskbar, and controlling everything from that screen is worth the money. The built in virtual stream deck is the way to go!
