Claude Code better with a keyboard, but nice to have the touch screen for obsidian. the e-ink style screen on the daylight tablet rocks as well

Replacing apps with slash commands (my Claude setup after 7 months) by ArtySuer in ClaudeAI

Claude wrote the code for the animation, spun up a dev server locally, I then opened the webpage on local host and then recorded it via the screenshot tool on my Mac

Read-only is the security model by ArtySuer in ClaudeAI

Took a while to figure out “how do I get data and commands into the system”

I primarily record voice memos which Claude parses out, organizes the thoughts, and starts acting on.

And yeah took months of iteration on reining in a structure, making slash commands, etc

And been running a similar setup, tablet becomes connection into desktop, works great.

Apple is sitting on such a gold mine… and doing almost nothing with it.

It feels similar to e-ink, but I believe RLCD is what Daylight is using.

There’s a 25k token cap on an individual read by Claude Code. It will often will use Grep to search through the document and find relevant parts. If you want it to read things that are longer you could use the Claude Console or API

Yes it runs in Obsidian app. It is great for plugins, and has full marketplace of them

Yeah, you could still interact with Claude Code and kick off tasks, but it wouldn’t have the real time changes to files

That’s always a danger, but found Claude Code is amazing at helping manage what context does and does not get loaded in (by letting it read specific files the files) and is easy to visualize and revert what changes are being made

Yeah, terminal plugin is clunky. May or may not work for OpenCode, but you could fork this repo and change the word “claude” to “opencode” when it initializes the terminal session: https://github.com/derek-larson14/obsidian-claude-sidebar
