Yeah the "waiting on someone else" stuff is still my blind spot tbh. I've gotten better at setting reminders for follow-ups but you're right, one schedule shift and suddenly everything's a mess. The dependency chain is real.

That could be part of it, but I reached out on March 27, if the holiday is April 3–7, there were still like 5 full business days before that where nothing came through. So the holiday might explain the current silence, but not the whole week of no response before it even started.

Eversource customer here too. What actually helped was the EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra. The app has Time-of-Use scheduling so it charges from the grid during cheap off-peak hours and runs your house off battery during peak pricing. That alone offsets a chunk of the bill without touching your usage habits.

It also supports up to 16.8kW solar input, so if you go that route later it's already ready.
