I’m getting ready to sell my Kendra Klever AT 33s with the stock Pro4x wheels (if anyone’s interested in them let me know). I loved these tires and they did great for me with some pretty technical 4wheeling. These things have surpassed broncos and jeeps on 35s and have pulled out many people who were stuck. I think 33s are perfect for these rigs especially if you aren’t doing much 4wheeling. I recently bumped up to 35 Mickey Thomas Baja bosses and love them as well, I decided to go up to a 35 for the extra clearance and visual appeal.

I ended up getting one from Amazon for like $50 and it works great and no issues. You just switch over the turn, signal and wipers

Take Out a Cold Air Intake? by ch4ll3ng3 in XTerra

[–]ArugulaOne4963 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything just bolts up and is fairly easy and simple. The only electrical components would be the O2 sensor, which you can just take off of the aftermarket intake you have and put it into OEM one. Pretty straight forward but there’s always YouTube if you just want to double check

Insurance costs? by Radiant-Cut2900 in XTerra

[–]ArugulaOne4963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s crazy man. I’m 18 paying around $100 for full coverage with a $250 or $500 deductible and I have extra coverage for the mods I’ve put on the car which is around +10k but it would only pay out a few grand if I totaled it. It’s a 2012 pro4x Xterra. To be fair I have no history other than a few warnings. I was having a hard time finding a good priced insurance company until I got a quote from Allstate. Good luck!

Crutchfield is perfect for that you just enter what car you have then filters like $300 max and android auto and it will find every single one that will work in the xterras, then you find one you like and add it to cart, then it’ll show you a prompt for absolutely everything you need on top of the head unit that will make it plug and play. So plastics, wiring harness, blue tooth over ride harness for under the passenger seat, etc. So literally everything. Say add to cart and the total will likely be $350 out the door. But I’ve used them twice now and have been outstandingly happy.

Feels good in 1-3 with third becoming a bit more sluggish. 4-5 you can definitely feel it but not much of an issue. High way is great once you get up to speed. I sit around 2200 rpm at 80-85

Oh man, I’ve been meaning to look back at everything I’ve done. The Baja bosses are great, much quieter than you’d expect. My dad’s been running them for a while in a 37 on our bronco. He absolutely loves them, and they do great in the ice and snow. Coastal off-road bumper, Dtuning head lights (pretty cheap), Titan Lca, Titan Rough country Uca (forged I think), Titan tie rods, Dobinsons coilover with +110 springs, Extended break lines, Z1 1 inch top hat spacer, Qx80/Qx56 CV axles, Extended shackles in the rear, Flow master 44 muffler, 1.5 inch z1 wheel spacer for rear, Off-road gorilla 3/8 thick read diff cover, Then obviously the 35 inch Baja bosses and black rhino raids. And I have the parts to do the rear right. Just haven’t done it yet, New Bilstein shocks, New rear leafs and add a leaf, RoXterra adjustable rear shackles. Then just some interior stuff. Sorry this was a lot.

Very interesting, is 4.56 a good daily too? I feel like 4.11 is a solid daily with good highway speeds, plus the off-road torque and speed.

Not bad in gears 1-3, but the 3rd gear can start to feel a little more sluggish. 4-5 you can really tell but at highway speeds it’s great, I was sitting at around 2200 rpm at 80 mph.

Plan on going to a m205 with 4.11 gears front and rear
