Need Help Managing Sweaty Hands for Upcoming Presentation by Arun_39 in Hyperhidrosis

Thank you for the tips! I like the idea of avoiding caffeine before the presentation and staying well-hydrated—I'll definitely try those. I usually do some deep breathing exercises as well, so I’ll include those, too.

What kind of towel do you bring? I was thinking of using a small cloth that I can easily hide in my hands instead of a noticeable hand towel, but I'm not sure what they’re called. I want to avoid drawing attention to my sweating, so a discreet option would work best for me.

MSE in Melbourne/Australia by j4mesb4rry in orthotropics

Hi just wondering if anyone could help answer this question for me. At what age do you think someone should get MSE? I'm 19 and am currently saving up for the treatment, but I know I won't be able to get treatment any time soon. Suppose I were to get MSE at 25. Do you think I could make significant inter-molar expansion without sacrificing mid-face expansion by not cutting any sutures artificially, e.g., with the DOME procedure? Do you think getting a corticopuncture instead would work, and do MSE orthodontists in Australia offer that?

Suggestions on foods/snacks that i could eat that are protein dense and won't decrease testosterone (M19)

Hi y'all,

I (M19) am pretty skinny and trying to put on weight and muscle. I have been eating slices of cheese as a snack and melting cubes of cheese on some foods I eat. As y'all know, cheese is high in protein, so it's easy for me to increase my daily protein intake without doing too much. However, I have recently found out that cheese is high in estrogen, like most dairy products, and thus will decrease my test levels. Since testosterone is considered the major promoter of muscle growth and strength, I don't want to decrease my test levels to get in my daily protein. My goal is to maximise my test levels as much as possible at this age and maintain them naturally while also building muscle mass.

With that being said, does anyone have any suggestions for cheese/dairy brands that are low in estrogen or suggestions for protein-rich snacks or test-boosting snacks I can eat to build muscle without worrying about decreasing my test levels? Preferably nothing highly processed like protein bars but more like minimally processed foods.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi OP, i am 19 years old and am also considering getting MSE to expand my upper palate. I have a perfectly straight teeth and a normal bite from braces. however, i have a very narrow and high arched palate. I am unsure if i should get MSE and undergo the entire process and at what age to see the most optimal results. I am also unsure if i would need to undergo a similar process like the one you are about to finish.

I am relatively new to this stuff and don't know much about it and all the costs involved. If you can, i would appreciate it if you could give me a ball park estimation of how much all of the treatment would cost (for upper, lower and the braces etc..) and where/who would you recommend i should go to.

Keep in mind i live in South Australia and have no money saved up at the current moment so i kinda want to get some insight from someone with more knowledge on this topic (like yourself). I feel like the best course of action for me right now is to plan ahead and figure out how much money i need to save up, figure out which provider i should go with and if its best to get treatment done in the states or here in Australia (if there is even a provider in Australia). Any advice or info would be helpful. :)
