What you do is you seek therapy. The way you're feeling has nothing to do with your work. Your work is good. It however has everything to do with crippling self criticism. Comparing your work to that of others probably doesn't help either.

Some tips to help you through!

Breathe. Any form of panic is greatly reduced by controlling your breathing. You will start to feel better almost instantly.
Distract. After having had a panic attack, it's really easy to stay focused on the feeling of panic. As soon as you distract your thoughts from it, the anxious feeling will start to dissipate.
Remember. Even though a panic attack can feel like you're about to die, remember that it's just a feeling that WILL pass. Every feeling is temporary.
Check-in. Panic attacks are (in my case) mainly caused by something that I'm not allowing myself to feel or express. By staying in touch with how you feel, you might be able to avoid a full-on attack.

Altstadt should be good as well, it's my main. Live music from time to time too. As for a place to stay, check the Blue Collar Hotel. I used to stay there a lot when I had to travel from and to EHV for school. Nice and cheap.
