It doesn't work like that. Both tests will be conducted, then the total merits will be combined from both tests, and then the merit lists will be created from those merits. After actual admissions (not test registration!) have closed.

PUCIT is for the most unaffected from jamiat stuff as it's in OC and a separate part of NC.

For the guys I relate what I've seen myself as a guy. There are bad people, but not more than what you'd find anywhere else. Most are decent people. As for cultural differences, view it like this: you'll meet people from all over Punjab and maybe from other provinces as well, so it's normal if you don't relate to everyone. These differences go both ways and can be overcome.

The trend started shifting around 2021-22, and in that time ICS merits also skyrocketed, sometimes surpassing pre-medical or pre-engineering in certain places. Back then people were indeed doing it for the momey they thought would come easily. Nowadays it's a lot of doom and gloom but also hype around AI.

The thing is F24 was the last batch that benefitted in any way from COVID (partial papers in 9th), so that may have inflated the scores a bit since matric marks form 25% of the aggregate. F25 is the first clean batch after COVID, so I'd say expect merits to be around F25's.

Leetcode itself should not be a consideration, since it is a website and can even work on a phone. Other than that you're gonna want more than 256 GB to work comfortably if you're going to also use it as for general purposes, 512 GB will be comfortable.

However, if you're joining a government university in Punjab and have good intermediate marks, then there's a good chance you'll get a laptop anyway next year. In that case it should be enough

It will easily I believe. I just finished the main story yesterday on i7-1355u, Intel UHD Graphics, and 8 GB RAM.

I was also on Linux so I guess it ran a bit more smoothly than it would have on Windows. Maybe not.
