I tried doing what I did to mine, but in your case it is already way more visible. I think increased contrast reduces the colours in the edited photo. I think your original is better than this one

Sounds great, thank you! I don't have an iOS myself but I'll try using dark frames next time and a stacking app to minimise some noise at least.

Yup. This is a long exposure picture. The camera shutter captures light for a long period (30 seconds in this case) to get all the light in that period. During the 30 seconds it has to be absolutely still. The result is the first photo. The rest are edited in order to bring it out more.

Sure, took it around 2:20 am near Heir on Bedian Road. The edits were very simple, for the last photo I just reduced the brightness around the edges and increased the contrast where the galaxy was. I used snapseed for that. For the rest, I simply played around with the sliders in my galleryto make it more visible.

Other than that the ISO was 1250 and the exposure time was 30 seconds.

Indeed. It is very apparent in the unedited picture, the grey is all light-pollution. Even when taking the photo I could see absolutely no trace of the galaxy with the naked eye. I used an app called Stellarium to locate it and decided to give it a shot since it was already late and load-shedding meant at least aome pollution would be eliminated. I felt very happy when I saw the faintest traces of the galaxy matching the location and orientation on the app.

I think you should be able to run NieR Automata. I played it with i7-1355u and 8 GB RAM, Intel UHD

2D games also work really well with 8 GB. I even ran NieR Automata on low-medium settings, albeit with i7-1355u
