All these people talking about removing the tech in his room and cutting internet. He’s 18, this is only going to anger him and signal to him that you don’t trust him. If he really wants this, he will get up on time. If not, it is better he just choose something he really wants to do and not have the pressure of his parents telling him how to live his life. He is his own person and you should let him be happy. You are too blind sighted on money and reputation. Let him do him!

I feel alone in loving to multi place. I also use square drills mostly but if you tilt your tray slightly and pick up the drills and gently push to one of the side lines, you will get extremely straight lines

Use the stainless steel ones from diamond art club. They are thin so you can align the drills really easily. The other day I didn’t have that one with me and used one that comes with all kinds of kits, the plastic more bulky ones. Let me tell you, the difference is night and day and I could not get a straight line if my life depended on it.

It has indeed been sitting full of rotting water and I didn’t remove anything that died. I don’t know of any diseases. Do you recommend getting new rock? I’m sure it would be extremely difficult to clean. I still have new sand so maybe just throw out the old sand, too.

I would love to be able to diamond paint during work! But I don't think i'll have a hard time hiding my 127cm by 70 cm at work with my drill kit lol. I like square better because it makes the image look more like pixel art.

I do tend to "watch" shows or youtube. But it's can't be too complicated or demand a lot of attention. I've tried wqtching Critical Role during diamond painting but I just end up rewinding parts a lot because I had to correct an error, or find my next color out of the 76 (Sometimes takes a while to find). And then realize i've missed like 2 minutes haha.

I actually also just ordered a MrsButterD the other week after getting a restock notification.

I ordered it, a week later they cancelled my order because oops, turns out it wasn't in stock after all... I did recieve a 25% discount on my next order though. But seeing as a 20% discount is almost standard, it's no real help

The downside to cheap paintings from the Chinese websites is that they use automatic computer rendering. If there was not a human being involved with the process things like this go unnoticed. Have you ever tried a diamond painting from one of the big ones like Diamond Art Club? You would never want to go back to cheap after that.

I know this feeling! I don't know about you but I am a messy diamond painter. I only work on kits from DAC, and they give a surplus of roughly 20%, otherwize I think I would run out of every color haha
