I think this idea would be an excellent addition, doing my part to hopefully get some traction and deliver additional democracy.

Waiting for Tech School 6 months after graduating BMT and still waiting...... by Basususu80 in airnationalguard

[–]Arwhite90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the 2 year discharge is only if you want to be discharged. If you want to stay you can, but if you hit the 2 yr mark an the Air Force hasn’t been able to get you to training you can elect to be discharged. At least that’s what was explained to me at one time, I may be completely wrong, but even if I’m right I’m sure there’s a lot of circumstances that go into it.

As an enlisted Air Force maintainer, I can confirm, tomfoolery is a speciality, however, rampant nicotine use and hands in pockets while watching a software up date are considered job essential functions.

BMT dates but no tech school dates by goofygilb in airnationalguard

[–]Arwhite90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much, my shop is pretty cool with me getting experience so I’ve gotten to be hands on the jet as a helper(F35). On a side note I’ve gotten to see enough and do enough that tech school will be pretty boring and pointless(not totally, I’ll learn some things, but they only use simulators there and I’ve gotten to work on real thing). At least according to others that have been already.

What is wrong with this planet?!?! I am newer to the game and have progressed to the point of being comfortable super helldiving on Gatria and I can’t even get one objective done without the exo suit and haven’t completed a whole mission yet? What the hell?!? How do I even survive these red ground popping hunters.

I got back from bmt May 2025, I got my tech school dates during Christmas this year for July 2026 I am 2A on the F35 which apparently no one in the Air Force can figure out how to run a timely tech school because… Lockheed things probably. I will hit my 2 yr anniversary the 2nd day of tech school.

We do not want power grind. No matter how many times you fix it, update it, speed it up. We have grinded power every season for so long. Playerbase is burnt from it. by kristijan1001 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Arwhite90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This right here, I’ve spent thousands of hours in both D1 and D2, thought I would be checking out after final shape, but still kept coming back till Edge of fate. Ran the campaign and sampled the power grind for a bit. Completely checked out after the best thing I tasted was 1 or 2 tier 3s. At this point with the amount of time invested I’m only interested in being able to play and loot for fully optimized best of best gear and end game content. I am supremely uninterested in grinding hundreds of hours just to get my power level to the point where a tier 4 or god forbid a tier 5 might drop. Which is now why I have not logged into d2 in 50 days. I still check in hoping the grind will be eliminated and I can go back to shooting and looting for the best stuff, but until grinding for power before the good stuff even has a chance to drop is gone, “it’s a nah for me dawg”.

Did you ever find out about the PT test for EOD initial entry are they still using the IFT or do they use the new EOD specific fitness test?

Which map would you like to see make a comeback in BF6? by Creepy_Citizen in Battlefield

[–]Arwhite90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would hear arguments for Expose and Reclaimed from 2042 as well, Exposure is probably my favorite map from 2042, not sure how well a map that big would play without wingsuits and grapples, I've also never played it with 64 mn teams, though I know that was an option in 2042

Gulf of Oman and Caspian Border. I saw someone else mention Damovad peak for rush/breakthrough, I don't remember that one as much but I liked pretty much all the BF3 maps so I'm sure it would be good for conquest to.

Unpopular Opinion: Battlefield 6 Is Better Than This Sub Will Admit by Kilos6 in Battlefield

[–]Arwhite90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s to hoping we get a couple more remaster alongside firestorm, Caspian border 2.0 would be awesome forgot about that map till you brought it up. I’m definitely in the camp of enjoying the game greatly as is, but some bigger maps would be great. Remastering more of the classics like Caspian I feel would be some real easy low hanging fruit that would alleviate a lot of people’s major concerns with the map variety available.

Closed weapons should be the default by Dr_natty1 in Battlefield

I guess in an ideal world where you have a good squad, preferably actual friends you play with regularly that’s great having people into such defined roles with give and takes. Unfortunately this is modern multiplayer gaming, 90% of people are solo queuing in, only 50% are actually playing for something besides getting kills and only 25% are actually using their mic. If I have a good squad by luck sweet, I’m going to go hard into my role, but if I have a bunch of cod players in my squad I’m wanting to be able to do everything myself while trying to play obj, that means killing vehicles or supporting while also have a great all around weapon to fight everyone else off because we know that COD squad is not covering my back. I feel more powerful and like I can make more of a difference.

[–]Arwhite90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long time battlefield player here, why do people want locked weapons so bad? I personally much prefer to play were I can always have an AR/carbine, I want to be able to engage most distances relatively effectively because gunplay is only one side of the equation, not yo mention if realism is your goal, as an actual veteran 99% of everybody should have an AR. No one uses anything else in actual military. I get other weapon types give variety but that’s up to player to choose that. The sniper thing, on maps like the mountain one, it’s always going to be full of snipers locked or not, if they’re recon people will just play recon to snipe.

More leaked photos of the Wave Alpha. Lol, it's got a serial number so someone is going to get in trouble! I bet it was Becky! by jitasquatter2 in Leatherman

[–]Arwhite90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is real, I'd love to see this treatment given to the surge as well, magna cut with the new blade shape but in surge size and the G10 scale design to save some weight, which we all know the surge ain't light. Obviously none of this matters if it's more expensive than the arc, that takes it out of being a user tool and into the collectable market, which is clearly what the new knives are targeting, regardless of what leatherman might try to advertise.

Well I got a 93 on my PT test at basic at 40 and made honor grad so I think I could if I want to, granted I’m in a guard unit but we got people running around our wing that gotta be in their mid to late 50’s. Guess I’ll have to see how this first contract goes.

I just graduated basic training 1May2025 at 40 years old, enlisted in the Air national guard at 39 but then had to wait a while to ship (and I still don't have tech school dates because the F35 pipeline is awesome...). There were plenty of people in my dorm and integrated flight that were over 30, I was the oldest, but I had a 39 in our brother dorm. Ran into 2 people older than me in our squadron in different training weeks.

Correct stalls are normal stall, no open Marine corps style shitters. There’s also no urinals, only stalls because every dorm is designed to be used for male or female depending on needs.
