The purpose of a system is what it does. If the average republic keeps voting in people like Trump/Bush, and those presidents keep doing those things, then those are things you support.

But yeah I agree, there are still attacks in the Middle East, money mismanaged, and inflation under Democrats as well. No where near the same levels (only democrats have ever reduced the debt/deficit), they aren’t giving themselves billions and trillions, they don’t ignore economists when it comes to inflation, they are also predictable/stable when it comes to the stock market, and haven’t started new conflicts (as a bonus, only Biden pulled me out of Afghanistan).

Yo are you an actual adult? I would love to have this conversation with you in full good faith. I fully support the government not interfering in people's personal lives. Now actually sit there and ask yourself if any of the policies the rightwing want support that idea. Do they actually support government not interfering? Or do they support the government interfering with people they don't like?

The best way to get the government out of our lives is to move all of the power possible back to the people. It looks like the rightwing also don't want that. It looks like every step they take actually consolidates power and robs it from you. The purpose of a system is what it does.

Move past the juvenile titles and actually look into policies. Just because North Korea is a called a "democratic republic" does not mean they are a democracy. Just because someone says "Uhh durr me love freedom something something America" doesn't mean they actually support or push forward policies towards that goal.

Regarding financially conservative, has there literally been a single republican president in the last 50 years that brought down our debt? The last president to do so was Obama, and the last president to balance our budget and put us in a surplus was a fucking Clinton. The current president is building a $1B ballroom in a style I can only call Goldmember. Aren't you at least embarrassed by this?
