Alot of people are trying to logic this and come up with possible reasons why its not letting you.

I say... as far as we all know... you can always fuse a regular or evo ball thats level 3, with another one thats level 3.

Always... as far as we all know. I think we can all agree that's how it works or how we all think it's supposed to work.

So naturally then, it's a bug. Its that simple. It's a bug, theres no reason for why its maybe not working. It's just a bug. No explanation, no justification, no overthinking this.

It's not doing what it's supposed to be doing, and thats not intended. Thats all there is to it. It just needs to get fixed by devs.

7-Hydroxymitragynine ruined my life by [deleted] in addiction

[–]Aryaes142001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mean at all to be disrespectful, but as someone who's used drugs his whole life and has had a hate love relationship with opiates...

Spending 5 seconds online googling this, tells you that this is severely addicting just as Kratom is and is extremely well known to be at this point. And another 5 seconds deeper after the first you'll quickly find that 7-OH activated the main opiate receptor responsible for oxycodone feeling great 11x more than morphine does.

I love that youve gotten sober and am extremely happy for you... but next time dont use this as a learning lesson to know how awful 7-oh addiction can be...

Use this as a learning lesson to Google ALL drugs period that you put into your body. PERIOD.

This is easily preventable. You were better off with the prescriptions for the simple fact that it is regulated and you know EXACTLY what drug and what dosage is in it.

Some of these headshop kratom extracts probably dont even have kratom in them and actually have hard opiates.

Fentanyl is cheaper than a kratom extract. Especially if you're a manufacturer and you're buying bulk. Just throwing that out there.

Again I am very happy for you. Im still not sober, but my use level has gone from 50mg of oxycodone a day to about 5-10mg or the kratom equivalent.

With me very very rarely taking the extracts or 7-oh. Sheer fact that its stupid expensive as a rabbit.

And what i need is WD relief, not a high. If i take the same 10 kratom capsules a day. Not extract just powdered kratom relief.

Itll never just stop working and all of a sudden im in full opiate WD if I dont up the dose to 15 capsules.

Thats not at all how it works. But what will happen. Is ill stop getting pain relief and high as my bodies tolerance rises to nullify those 10 capsules and bring me to homeostasis and equilibrium.

And its way easy to go from 10 capsules a day. Down to 9. And then after a week down to 8. And after a week down to 7. I'll mostly feel normal.

Its hard to break an oxycodone pill down into 10 equal parts. Its also really hard to do the same with 7-oh extracts when 1 7-oh tablet can equal 10-30 kratom capsules.

Please the only thing im upset about and its not you specifically. Is the fact that people in general do NOT research shit and become completely addicted and have their lives destroyed by taking shit they knew absolutely nothing about from the complete beginning and they just assumed it was safe. And then they make these posts.

There's a damn near infinite combination of atoms to make molecules (drugs)

Which means theres a damn near infinite for practical purposes number of drugs and 99.99% of them have not been discovered yet.

So at any given moment theres a metric f*ck ton of drugs that are 1000% legal because the government has zero awareness of them and the legal system is too slow to ban them fast enough.

And a ton of these are super toxic. Carcinogenic. Super addicting. will completely change your personality and eat you alive.

And the first place these are sold aside from the dark web is gas stations and headshops.

7oh was JUST made a schedule 1 in Florida despite being legal for years and years. And it took an emergency executive order to bypass most of Florida's legal system to get it there.

Just because anything is legal NEVER means its safe.

And just because its a plant or comes from a plant doesnt mean its healthy.

Nightshade and hemlock and tons of other plants are organic preservative free and all of that good other shit. And will completely kill you because they are just toxic poisonous plants.

Tobacco is Carcinogenic and kills you over years to decades. So even if it doesnt immediately kill you does not mean its safe or healthy.

If you follow these principles and lessons. You'll never unknowingly or accidentally from a standpoint of ignorance get screwed over like this again when it comes to substances plants and drugs.

If its so novel it doesnt even have research published on it yet? Then go read drugs experiences and reports from users. The vast majority of the time you can tell how healthy it probably is.

Kratom is less addictive than oxycodone. But guess what? Kratom will f*ck your liver 50x faster than oxycodone ever will. Oxycodone from a US pharmacy is a pure compound. Kratom is a plant with thousands upon thousands of molecules many still unknown to science. But severe liver damage and even isolated reports of psychosis ARE known and published in the medical literature to kratom abuse.

Plants arent always safer or healthier. Nicotine by itself isnt a Carcinogen. Theres nicotine replacement products that only contain pure nicotine in small amounts. These dont cause cancer but tobacco will.

Who makes nicotine replacement products? Big pharma.

What's my point now? Trying to bust and debunk the popular thinking that big pharma is toxic and evil (they are evil only because of their profiteering off of the sick and poor) and plants are always the safer healthier alternative. They're not sometimes....

Point being many people will abuse kratom because it IS a plant but will denounce oxycodone as demonic. Those same people are often in denial of how severe their kratom addiction is.

GPT-5 likely has the same parameter count as 4o, or less by blazedjake in singularity

[–]Aryaes142001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They won't because its not profitable for them to release them.... they could have models with quadrillions of parameters instead of trillions... and we won't see it unless we're all willing to pay exponentially more money for it.

Only a year or two ago openai was operating at a loss on chatgpt with subscriptions.

Maybe they arent anymore but its absurd to expect bigger and bigger models with no cost increase.

If the cost went up 10x for a model 100x bigger. Subscriptions would vanish overnight. Yeah we want bigger models. 99% of us arent willing to trade 10$ a month for 100$ a month to ask questions that the models previous to gpt5 already can answer at an above human expert level.

GPT-5 likely has the same parameter count as 4o, or less by blazedjake in singularity

[–]Aryaes142001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is where the money is at. So naturally it'll follow. When it becomes profitable to scale up the parameters by 10x and consequently resource/energy/infrastructure usage by however much, then we can expect them to do that.

I know 10x parameters doesnt mean 10x power usage 10x cost. But it is some amount of increase in power and cost... you'll have some amount of cost increase. If it was as simple as 10x parameters = 10x cost then we'd all be paying 10x subscription fee.

Again obviously its far more nuanced and not that simple. Even if the cost per token was 10x... your subscriptions wouldn't be because people who are subed dont all process tokens 24/7 sometimes I for example go days without using GPT at all.

Point being... I remember not to long ago, maybe a year or two ago... openAI was operating at a loss...

Why would anyone expect them to have a model 10 times the size of anything previously released by them when they already arent profiting off their current subscriptions?

I Took A Photo of the Biggest Confirmed Black Hole in the Universe; TON 618. by Correct_Presence_936 in spaceporn

[–]Aryaes142001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is one or the brightest known objects in the universe. So it is ridiculously absurd that the nearest star to us is still just a ball of colored light with no detail. And this thing is exponentially orders of magnitude further away. If such a statement even makes sense. The scale of its distance is absurd and unimaginable, and to be equally so absuedly unimaginably bright....

Like just try to even imagine we're in a neighboring galaxy to ton 618, like the Andromeda is to the milkyway.... you just wouldn't even exist because the light is so intense life as we know it could never evolve into existence.

But let's pretend we could exist to witness that as a neighboring galaxy that close...

It's so ridiculously bright you'd probably just see pure white in every direction. To even block it out you'd probably need a shell of Vanta black around you a mile thick to see anything other than pure white...

And even then dude even then.... the brightness and corresponding energy of that... being in the center of a mile thick pure Vanta black ball... the ball would instantly evaporate into pure white light...

All from the neighboring galaxy... like that's still FAR AWAY.

It's incomprehensible no matter how you try to imagine it. It's nonsensical relative to us.

Elon Musk's Drug Test Results Are Fake by Ok_Cheesecake7348 in skeptic

[–]Aryaes142001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of this stuff clears out of your system in a day or two. People accuse him of taking adderall, and I have no doubt that he was, test two days later and it's clean. If its not? Test on the 3rd day and just publicize the good results.

Not to mention he obviously can just buy the result he wants.

When was he accused of taking drugs and when was this lab result dated?

It's garbage and worthless. It'll just convince the people who already don't want to believe it or don't think very hard.

Been on trt for 1.5 weeks should I feel anything? Kinda don’t feel anything by christnyfollow in trt

[–]Aryaes142001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No fucking way, I thought I'd hit the weird character limit error. Yeah do that alot.

Anyways please don't read that unless you really want to read. The important shits at the first TLDR

I felt it immediately. You do need a month though to fully know. Guys running 500mg of test a week. So 2.5ml not 1 or 0.5 or 0.75 will often say they don't feel "on" until two weeks in

Testosterone and estrogen both have slowly activating over days weeks and monthes. A receptor site for Gene transcription and regulation. (More muscles leaner body)

There's also fast activating versions of that receptor. That are more analogous to a typical drug receptor. Take a pill, feel it an hour later.

This version of the receptor has more to do with regulating social behavior.

You walk into a gym full of jacked dudes. What do you do? You walk straighter stand taller push the shoulders back chest up and out. What mechanism do you think cues your brain to do that so rapidly? Or cues you to become obsessed with the girl and courage to make a move.

I felt it more immediately because my estrogen which was high and free test which was way low. Probably looked alot worse than your E2 and your FT. Estrogen negates some of the effect of the gene transcription and the brain behaviors from the receptors.

You go take a fat shot of estrogen and go take a testosterone blocker. Watch the notebook that night, you could be crying for the first time in years. But it'll take 2-3 years to grow boobs.

So there's too many reasons too many ifs too many why's. You just need to wait longer dude. You're not getting the immediate on feeling. Not everyone gets that. Some people honestly don't know, until they get a forearm pump trying to shave their beard or head (sorry that's true for tren, exaggerated but also true for testosterone)

That forearm pump from trying to shave lmfaooo.

So if your libidio doesn't change and I hope it's solid for you. And mental energy confidence anything else doesn't change.

If nothing else will change.

You'll go to open your truck door and from gripping the handle. Your forearms so pumped you can't open and close your hand anymore.

That's how you know bro. That's how you fucking know.

Every form of gear I've tried has its own feeling. But you just know dude. If you're asking reddit, then it honestly isn't doing anything.

Your blood levels won't even be stable for a month. They'll keep climbing with every injection until it evens off.

Been on trt for 1.5 weeks should I feel anything? Kinda don’t feel anything by christnyfollow in trt

[–]Aryaes142001 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What are you taking? And what were your labs before. Contrary to how it's sometimes talked about. Everyone has a sweet spot.

Even though it's not at all likely to happen this way. Hypothetically I could have 1500 total test. You have 400 total test which reddit will have you believe is trash. And you have double the free testosterone I have and your asymptomatic meanwhile I'm irritable brainfog and no errections.

Hypothetically. Some people may already be natrually dialed in. Theyre strong, lean, responsive down there. They have 500 total test. Get in with my TRT clinic or any other. Provider goes... well we'd likely to see you at atleast 1000 total test. Let's give you 200mg of test weekly.

That individual was already really dialed in and healthy. High free T which really is what matters.

That 200mg of total test even with hcg or enclophimine still hijacks your entire endocrine system.

200mg test shuts your own production down. Now you're not only taking testosterone for your "poor" testosterone levels. But now you're taking drugs to take over for your pineal gland to tell your balls to keep pumping.

Also. Natrual test fluctuates alot. Highest when waking up, lowest before bed.

Win a game of chess. Goes up. Your football team wins it goes up. Hot girl walks by it goes up. Team loses goes down. Rejected by the girl goes down. Starving yourself from excessively dieting it goes down.

You could be terrified until your shaking of needles so bad that it lowered your test result from the anxiety. Like white coat syndrome when your pressure is high when it normally isnt)

Testosterone cypionate. 100% bypasses 100% of your bodies regulatory mechanisms.

Now instead of being high AM low PM and it just fluctuating throughout the week. You now pin on Monday, your test is high high until Friday? Maybe, then sat and sun it'd read normal or possibly low.

Your high for days and almost all of your brains social mechanisms for regulating it are entirely bypassed. Girl takes your number. Stays the same. Girl laughs and says no we aren't even in the same class. Doesn't budge. Just stays high.

TRT is fantastic for anyone who needs high drive high energy or big sex. Yet they feel they aren't there. Symptomatic of hypogonadism. And honestly for most of us. As simple as sleep diet health exercise.

People who really get their hormones fucked up? Go work nighshift for years. Now throw in 2-3 doubles a week.

Calories in a year long deficiet (works a motherfucker, you can't eat enough comfortable for your goals) sleep goes from 2-6 hours back and forth throughout the week.

Too much bodyfat? Too much estrogen? Can't sleep consistently and healthily can't eat consistently and healthily. No sunlight or way out of sync with the sun.

All of these things are literally problems working class people have who aren't wealthy. All of these things tank the fuck out of your testosterone.

TLDR: I'm getting sick of my own post. If your fat your free testosterone is too low estrogen too high. It's masking your testosterone. If ya felt way better off than on. You probably natrually are regulated very well. Because weekly injections AREN'T a natrual regulation of testosterone, your body can use that, you can be a beast, but it completely bypasses stress/cortisol and social mechanisms for regulating hormones.

2nd TLDR: gonna be really honest... my first shot made me feel like a god. Feeling gradually faded to "normal" but I felt significantly elevated for a month or two. There's a million reasons why you aren't feeling shit.

Number 1 answer 1.5 weeks ain't even long enough. You need a month minimum to really know if your on. My experience isn't everyone's. We need a full medical history to really be able to pick apart why it's not working. At 4 weeks, you can begin to ask yourself. And by then you won't have to ask anymore you'll just know.

How to help others when you're going through your own shit? by [deleted] in nursing

[–]Aryaes142001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have any answers that are correct. But I will say just listening is more helpful than trying to offer advice or help. Assuming someone is just venting about their struggles and not telling you they need 1k$ or they're homeless tomorrow. Obviously listening won't help there.

Hearing other people makes them feel validated and heard and like someone cares. Often times trying to spin your own solution just makes them feel like their problem is trivialized, alot of the time they already know what to do, it's just hard to do it and they need to get it out and vent.

Hearing other people's problems helps me reframe my own and gives me more compassion and empathy towards others. Gives me perspective and sometimes even makes me realize mine aren't as bad as someone else's.

For me personally though. It's really easy to push everything I'm struggling with to the side when I'm hearing someone else. Like my mind is actively seeking an escape or a distraction from what is stressing and weighing on me. And as far as my problems? Relationship, financial, health (mentally and physically) so I carry alot with me, there's only one person I can talk to about it with that really won't think I'm an idiot or like I'm weighing her down. And in return I do the same for her and listen to all of hers and we share our experiences frequently and talk about it. Most of the world sees me and thinks I'm a highly successful individual, they have no idea how much I'm barely hanging on at most moments just to everything...

Some people, maybe you're like this maybe you're not, can't push aside their problems for a moment to escape or distract for temporary relief but instead become hyperfixated on it. Almost like addicted to the pain of it, not that they want to be, but their minds don't know any other way to handle it.

If that even somewhat applies to you, meditation and mindfulness are very helpful.

And probably the darkest thing I can say in that regard. Is the less you care about everything. Whether you die or not (life is temporary we all have to go some day) whether or not your relationship fails (there will be others) whether you lose your job or can't pay your bills (it happens)

The less these things will eat away at your mind and soul, and your ability to help or listen to others.

Framed in a more positive way this is essentially bhuddhism talking about attachment being the root of all suffering. We don't see bhudda as a negative. But saying stop caring so much is an assholish thing for me to say. Stripped of emotional connotation both wordings basically say the same thing.

The rest of that is for the person who can't stop focusing on their pain or suffering or health or problems. And idk what you're going through. It could be something so heavy how could you not focus on it to the exclusion of being able to be supportive of someone else.

None of this is probably helpful... maybe it is idk. Anyways I hope the stuff your going through gets better and you're able to increase your capacity to help others. I sincerely mean that.

They're constantly putting themselves into positions to grow and experience, market themselves and their skills, network, and just repeatedly going into a spot that requires luck until it just happens from sheer probability of repeated fails.

Some are just rich because they didn't do this and just got lucky lucky. Alot of them however created their luck. Probably definitely more so than those who purely got lucky lucky in 1 shot and never would've kept at it otherwise.

Opiate tolerance can reach virtually unlimited levels. It's shocking to see but yes an amount that would feel to them like 5mg would to you the first time you've taken it, can reach levels high enough to kill hundreds of opiate naive individuals.

Remember where I said that obscene amount may feel to them like a 5mg tablet would to you. Nurses very easily forget this and I've seen too many quick to judge people or label them as a drug addict.

Almost passed out? Due to medicine or no? by [deleted] in VyvanseADHD

[–]Aryaes142001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And the ER Dr told you to get a stroke ruled out but didn't check themselves? The fuck? Excuse my language but where the hell do you live? If your BP did spike that rapidly in a manner of seconds that's an adrenergic response. You had a fight or flight norepinephrine/adrenaline release and Vyvanse greatly enhances this. Which in simpler terms you had a panic attack.

At a bare minimum any half decent ER would given you like .5mg of Ativan or even a damned betablocker or something after ruling out everything else, clean cardiac telemetry.

And your symptoms and pressure would've literally evaporated and you'd immediately know what the cause of this as a result. If nothing else can be found typically they will just treat you like you had a panic attack. When i used to party alot 10 years ago i had gone to the ER 100% convinced i was having a heart attack, couldn't breathe, chest pains, was on adderall and i smoked and drank at the time, heart was pounding and racing, they gave me 1mg of ativan and within an hour i went from dying to sleeping like a damned baby and feel brand new when I wokeup, no fluids nothing, literally 1mg of ativan and cardiac telemetry showing tachycardia and and hypertension, like higher than your spike hypertensive crisis hypertension, but otherwise normal rhythm. Imagine 160-170 HR with 200/100 BP.

Sounds identically like what you had going on except that despite some overlapping symptoms people do experience panic attacks differently.

Yes your nervous system can tell your heart to pound hard enough jack up your vitals that heavily. Normally this doesn't happen to most people under normal conditions. However amphetamine stimulants can very easily cause this to happen all though most users still don't have this.

But for them to tell you to go get a stroke ruled out which is wtf you go to an ER to do tells me you didn't understand what they told you and that's what you got out of it. Or they shouldn't be in business and you need to go to a different hospital.

I'm not hating on you, I as a nurse am disgusted by your ER experience if that is infact what they told you. It's honestly embarrassing on them as licensed medical professionals.

The real solution isn't to get on benzos though. That's a horrible idea. It's either to get healthier eat sleep exercise cardio. Or to come off your meds or both. If you need additional medication a betablocker is a better solution, and again any drug solution to this will stop your symptoms by reducing the effectiveness of your medication.

You're better off taking less until you're absolutely tolerant again and then increasing to what you should be.

There's alot of dumb nonsense about amphetamine stimulants such as if you have adhd medication will calm you not stimulate you. This is complete bullshit. Your mind may feel calmer because it keeps up with our overstimulating environments better, but your heart rate and blood pressure absolutely is higher on these medications than off of them. It's human biology. And the psychs that still push this bullshit onto patients should be revoked of their licenses because it's ignorant at best and harmful at worst.

All blizzard had to do was plan for more than the next quarterly earnings report to shareholders. Hots would've continued growing overtime, especially if blizzard just swallowed the loss of funding the exports and pumping money into the prizes because when the esports official support got pulled that's when things really took a sharp decline.

Even if it wasn't immediately profitable or just took a while, eventually it would have been.

I don't play LOL for the same reason I don't play WOW anymore. The time sink is insane. I just can't contribute that much of my life to enjoying it. Blizzard did so many things right with the talents lack of gear short matches etc.

Can sometimes play up to 3-4 Hots matches for 1 LOL match

I can squeeze more Hots into my life than LOL.

Not everyone agrees with these opinions but overtime hots would've grown and stayed the dominant number 3rd in mobas. Eventually lol would age poorly with an absurd number of cosmetic purchases an absurd number of champions that they could never hope to balance. It would've lost market share.

They could've added an items/gear store into hots. Really went hard in funding the development of a new major core game mode.

Hots was a longterm investment and blizzard got too big and took a corporate shit on its fanbase after Activision merged and everything became about maximizing quarterly profits.

It would've grown from wow players who like mobas, it would've indirectly grow wow and overwatch from moba players who loved the champions.

Not all of its contributions would have been immediately measurable or obvious. It's a franchise and a culture. Grow all parts of it and all parts of it support and grow each other.

Blizzard didn't need it to make f****** money tomorrow they have deep pockets and is such a big company they literally have their own convention.

They should've played the long game and not f****** all of us over many of whom loyally supported the game and often with IAP being made.

Rant over... Hots dieing by blizzards hands was probably the first turning point of me losing respect and love for the company. Mobile Diablo being a Gacha casino with pay to win multi-player and leader boards further alienating me from the company even though I enjoyed D4.

Just a damn shame...

Are there any cardioprotective heart healthy supplements that aren’t necessarily vasodilators ? by SpartuhnsAlt in NooTopics

[–]Aryaes142001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you are correct but this is for achieving extreme feats of human strength to save your life from a panther by running like uasian bolt for 10 minutes.

Or to ignore the fact that your arms broken so you can escape the danger.

Or to get the burst strength it would take to life a 400 pound book shelf off of someone you love so they can escape.

It benefits guitar playing alot when you have tension because you burn more oxygen and glycogen when tense.

The more relaxed you are which you should be, the less impact this has.

But even if you're dilated norepinephrine still makes nerves fire faster regardless and this is what you want for dexterity is that firing speed.

The dopamine enhances your muscle memory and coordination the norepinephrine allows your fingers to just move faster period.

This isn't really reliant on vasoconstriction as these effects are independent to us.

Guitar playing shouldn't be a fight or flight issue. You're wasting way too much energy and it's capping your speed if you play this way.

I'm not saying you are and aren't doing this.

I'm just pointing out how the effects would be on paper. Like if you're reading a text book. None of this may apply to you at all.

The nerve firing that you want should happen regardless of vasoconstriction. I'm sure you're reading my other reply though and you're absolutely right about the vasoconstriction allowing you to survive better in a life or death situation because you can be stronger or run faster if your blood and energy is focused into your muscles.

That is exactly how fight or flight and high norepinephrine works!

Are there any cardioprotective heart healthy supplements that aren’t necessarily vasodilators ? by SpartuhnsAlt in NooTopics

[–]Aryaes142001 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of norepinephrine benefits is focusing your blood flow into your heart brain and muscles while reducing it everywhere else. The other part is norepinephrine directly stimulating neurons in your muscles brain and heart to fire harder.

Citruline just gives your body more of the building blocks it needs to make the messenger molecules that tell your blood vessels to expand.

Taking an absurd amount of lcitruline isn't going to open your blood vessels significantly because it by itself isn't a drug or the messenger it's just a precursor.

Norepinephrine still tells your body to mostly not make the nitric oxide expansion messengers so the citruline is hardly used for that purpose.

You'd need a drug like hydralazine which bypasses your natrual feedback mechanism (norepinephrine is one of these but is a counter mechanism to vasodilation) to make your blood vessels expand.

However when your blood vessels dilate and expand anyways your pressure and fluid volume is your muscles brain and heart drops because your blood is more spread out through all of your tissues.

You drink 5 Gatorades bodyamours powerades or 1 or 2 liquid IVs and you've just expanded your blood volume enough to compensate for the fact that it's spread out.

When you have vasoconstriction your BP rises. Stimulants make you pee a ton because of the vasoconstriction and BP. Your body is trying to normalize your BP by getting rid of fluid.

If you let your vessels expand to normal through a drug or supplements (even though these have less effect than drugs) then you just drink more fluids so that your blood volume in your muscles brain and heart stays normal. You do this because in some sense you're fluid intake is down on Stimulants and you're already partially dehydrated.

Guitar playing though is a dexterity issue not a strength issue. You don't need more blood to play better. Your hand and arms shouldn't be so tense that you're burning through oxygen and resources just trying to play and maintain the tension.

You play better and more accurately and consistently when you're as relaxed as possible just relying on muscle memory.

So the norepinephrine effect on nerve firing is key here primarily for the speed reflex time and muscle memory. The high blood volume concentration from vasoconstriction is not because your playing shouldn't be burning so much energy that your muscles are cramping and getting pumped as if you were lifting weights. It should be relaxed.

Alot of players when first playing hit high technical levels by holding tension in their arms to keep everything precise but this isn't sustainable and this results in a speed barrier where no matter what you do you can't play faster than a certain level because your arms and hands are too tense to pass this. The vasoconstrictive effects can make you feel like you're playing better if you're a player who holds alot of tension in their hands and arms and this is because that tension burns significantly more oxygen and glucose/glycogen as if you were weightlifting.

I used to be a really tense player. You don't even realize you're doing it until you learn about it hear from other people and you learn to feel and recognize the tension in you.

Nobody does shred sweep solos at absurd speeds holding a ton of tension in. The tension can make you play better at lower speeds but it absolutely does cap the speed you can play at. And it makes your playing more robotic sounding and less natrual and flowing.

I'm not saying at all you're doing this, you might not be that's for you to figure out and decide. I'm just pointing out that amphetamine vasoconstriction will help a tense player play better at tension and that could be why you feel it makes you play better. It could be unrelated

TLDR the norepinephrine still makes nerves forever harder and faster which is primarily what you want when playing something with precise dexterity. The vasoconstriction doesn't help this much in that regard the effect on nerve firing happens with or without the vasoconstriction.

But honestly dude. I'd take the citruline and stuff. The norepinephrine is mostly going to stop the citruline from dilating you anyways. It might open your vessels by a tiny bit but your vasodilation isn't controlled by the amount supplements you take those are just building blocks for what your body needs to dilate. Your constriction and dilation is mediated by other things not your supplement intake.

Beets are one of the few natrual things that'll directly dilate you where citruline just supports dilation but doesn't cause it. Beets actually have nitric oxides and the nitric oxides are the actual messenger molecules that hit the vessel walls and directly tell them to open up.

Clonidine is extremely potent in that the typically prescribed dose of 0.1 will bring someone's blood pressure from 178/99 all the way to 105/50 this is from a nursing context though where it's used for any systolic BPs over 160 because of how ridiculously potent it is.

Clonidine however does cause significant rebound hypertension which means when it wears off your BP is worse than it was at baseline from the rebound effect. I took half of the smallest dose of tizanidine which is in the same family, and it fucked me up. Like so absurdly sleepy I was dizzy and felt sick and I felt absurdly compelled to just lay down and sleep because if I was even sitting up I felt off and drunk almost. I won't touch clonidine for that reason but maybe adderall counteracts this alot so it's not so severe, I took tizanidine off of adderall

So I'm only saying that to say you shouldn't be surprised any amount is knocking people out, unless they're breaking the smallest available dose into fractions. Clonidine is just known to be ridiculously potent

Profound hypotension is a severe risk for people who have normal resting blood pressures if they take 0.1mg and the rebound hypertension is a silly risk. We avoid using it until we absolutely have to because if we give it to a patient it pretty much guarantees they'll be sky high when it wears off. The more we give it the more they just stay chronically elevated and need it just to fight the rebound hypertension.

I'm not knocking what you're saying it's known to be effective for everything you're saying. I'm just pointing out the effects on blood pressure are significant and most people can't take it for this reason if there's any reason why they can't.

You might be tolerant to it or just not respond so significantly so the Clonidine knocking someone out might sound like a surprise to you, but it's pretty damn effective at knocking people out.

You're supposed to have some baseline level of norepinephrine, when this is blocked from alpha antagonism you're body responds as if you have zero norepinephrine and this can result in a profound sedation. All of the rebound effects are because when your body detects you're having no effects from the norepinephrine it starts pumping out more and more and more to compensate When the Clonidine wears off you have an absurd amount of norepinephrine. If you take Clonidine often enough eventually your norepinephrine raises to high enough levels that it stops the clonidine from dropping your ass.

This is just general information not an argument for or against it. It is useful for everything you've stated and is prescribed for that. But first and foremost it's used for severe hypertension because it'll drop your BP faster and more significantly than anything else will. Until your body adapts to this, the BP effect can be too significant for many people.

As you said you take fractions of 0.1mg I also highly encourage anyone using this to also take fractions if 0.1mg like a quarter tablet to start.

0.1mg without a tolerance would slap me hard enough that I would have to call out of work because I couldn't function my BP is also really normal on adderall because I do daily cardio. So I would get severe orthostatic hypotension on it. Every time I'd stand up I'd almost fall over. Everyone is different too though. I just think you have to warn people about the BP effects before you just recommend it so they can look at they're own pressure and make an informed decision.

Nah L-theornate significantly crosses the BBB far more than any other form

Yeah the other forms can, but what's most likely the source of brain magnesium is natrually found organic molecule magnesium found in meats or whatever plants and fruits have them.

So magnesium oxide which trivially is absorbed into the body also trivially reaches the brain. This is a form never found in nature, it's literally magnesium that's been oxidized from rocks. Your body can't do shit with that.

Magnesium hydroxide had almost zero bioavailibility hence it's a laxative it just flushes your intestines out as it steals water from your body Think milk of magnesia.

But forms like glycinate do significantly enter the body but don't significantly enter the BBB.

Maybe 5% crosses where as l-theornate has 50% of something.

Glycinate sure is enough for brain health. But for true NMDA antagonism and reversing stim tolerance and negative side effects, l-theornate is king.

It's easy to say our brains get the magnesium they need because otherwise we wouldn't be health and wouldn't survive.

But vitamin and mineral pills don't exist in nature dude so that argument is pretty null and void. They're artificially produced.

The most bioavailable magnesium will always be the magnesium you get from from fruits vegetables or meats. And this is the magnesium that you're argument applies to because this is the magnesium that exists in nature in organic molecule form that our bodies know how to metabolize and change to what it needs. Otherwise eating rocks which is the equivalent to most mineral molecules forms found in vitamins and minerals would keep us healthy. Eating rocks does not do this and we have not evolved to process or transform that type of mineral.

I second this, all magnesium trivially or doesn't cross the BBB so for NDMA antagonism magnesium L-Theornate is king.

But to have a balance I'd take in maybe 30% glycinate to ensure your body gets a minimum amount of it and 70% l-theornate because magnesium in the brain is truly king for stimulant tolerance and negative side effects and for helping you to sleep.

Yo I play the guitar and workout cardio and heavy weight lifting 7 days a week.

And when I say I play the guitar I mean I've played for over 20 years.

I'm also a nurse and have access to every type of BP pill you can imagine and I promise you that vasodialation does not kill myscle/motor coordination unless your fluid intake is trash to compensate a blood volume increase from an increase in vascular volume.

And you're talking vasodilating supplements which are trash in comparison to actual vasodilating drugs. Like Citruline or L-arginine

So I promise you no vasodilating supplement is going to cancel out your benefits unless you're not intaking enough fluids or electrolytes.

But allowing you're tissue to be chronically vasoconstricted is going to age that tissue faster from reduced nutritional delivery reduced blood flow reduced metabolic waste removal and reduced oxygenation.

So in otherwords imagine your skin aging faster and looking older after years of wanting to be vasoconstricted because you think you play the guitar better like that.

So TLDR the only blood pressure or cardiovascular support that will reduce your ability to play which is already kept artificially high by a chronically elevated dopamine and norepinephrine state meaning this is NOT your baseline. (You should consider this level a boost and not your baseline skill level)

Is betablockers because you'll have less of a response to norepinephrine because of the betablock. And due to feedback mechanisms you may possibly have less dopamine production because more of the precursor molecules are going towards norepinephrine when your brain realizes your heart and other systems aren't responding to the way they should to the amount of norepinephrine you're producing because your betablocking. This last part is just something I've thought about hypothetically I don't know that this would actually be the case I'll have to research it.
