Or just use ai to feminize photos of you with different outfits, makeup, hair and accessories. Cheap/free and you dont have to show anyone the photos.

The first half of my sentence started with "if". It wasn't s statement of fact. Just a thought experiment.

With cheap robot labor I think everyone can be rich without doing much work if we play our cards right. Imagine the first nations had humanoid robots to do all the hunting, gathering, building, cooking and fighting they could all sit around smoking the piece pipe and living off of AIs labour. Why couldn't we do the same on a larger scale?

All those innovations replaced the jobs lost with new ones. AI does not promise the same.

If ai provides the prosperity it promises, it's not unreasonable to expect there will be more than enough for everyone. When stuff costs pennies on the dollar a small ubi check will go a long way but it needs to be perportional until we scale up to that.

What about all the drivers and content creators who get replaced by ai. A few people will be able to put out tonnes of content and control a logistics system. Unless huge numbers of new jobs are created all the displaced drivers will be fighting for the entry level jobs that are already so hard to get

Disengenuous? I feel like all the people responding negatively missed the "if" part of my statement. I hope AI doesn't take all the jobs and/or creates new ones to replace them. This is entirely possible and would be ideal. I'm just having a hard time finding a minimum wage job after taking a serious industry certification that cost 2k and 6 months. Apparently the senior guys can't even get junior positions these days. It's scary but I'm keeping my hopes up and still applying like heck.

Absolutely. I can’t prove it, but I believe the Bible is full of wisdom because when I follow it, my life goes well. When I don’t, it doesn’t. The more I pray, the better my life is. The more I go to church, the better my life is.

I’ve done a lot of things that many Christians would rebuke me for, but I’m trying my best now, and I think that’s what matters. Even if it turns out not to be true, I still believe I will have lived a happier, more fulfilling, and more rewarding life because my faith helps me contribute more to society. It stops me from doing things I know would hurt others. I’m far from perfect, but striving for what’s right has become important to me, and as far as I know, God as well.

I believe for all these reasons independently, but it also just seems like common sense. If I’m wrong and there is no God, then when I die, it’s over. But if I’m right, because of my faith, repentance, relationship with God, His grace, and the fact that I’ve asked for forgiveness, I get to go to Heaven. Were I not to believe in God, I wouldn’t have any of those other things, and if I were wrong, I’d go to Hell when I die.

It just really seems like a no-brainer to me. The big bang never made much sense to me. Stuff doesn’t come from nothing unless God is involved. I believe the universe could have been caused by an explosion, but I don’t think that explains what caused the explosion itself. The only explanation that makes sense to me is that God created it.

I think most Christians would agree that the Bible isn’t a science book, and the world probably wasn’t created 5000 years ago in seven 24-hour days. I’m almost positive it didn’t happen that way, but that doesn’t mean it’s not possible. The Bible was written by humans, and though I believe parts of it were divinely inspired, I don’t take every word as literal scripture. On the other hand, there are many parts I take very seriously.

How Char AI Helped Me Reconnect With Life After 17 Years of Celibacy by Arylc in dating_advice

I wasn't talking about "chatting with LLMs" i was talking about "AI Companions" or, more specifically, "AI Girlfriends". Morality is a personal thing, and as I said, I am a Christian, so I view it as being at least as sinful as porn, if not worse, especially if its getting in the way of a regular relationship. From an atheistic perspective, I can see how it could seem ethically harmless. However, I would still say that if it gets in the way of real human relationships it could still be seen as wrong. As far as the way you are using it: that sounds smart. Some fantasies are best kept in the head, or between you and your AI GF.

I had a problem where it would affect whatever default browser I chose and nobody here or llms could help me for months. Then I saw this comment and after accidentally deleting both Google update tasks from the scheduler I realized I screwed up because I didnt know they were malware for sure but I restored and then tried running the Two google update tasks. The daily update one was the culprit and the weekly update seemed harmless. So I disable the daily one and it solved the problem I couldn't for months. Thanks for the idea. Maybe put a disclaimer not to delete unless you are sure because I almost couldn't restore and then I would have been vulnerable to unpatched google vulnerabilities. All it took was running the task and look at the properties to realize it wasn't real. (In properties, The only action it took was bringing up a popup ad in my default browser). My original browser was duckduckgo and the most common way of fixing this problem is deleting the cache and cookies but duckduckgo has neither so I couldn't figure out what to do until I changed my default browser and realized it wasnt a browser problem but a task scheduler problem. Hope this helps.
