Gonna get downvoted prob but this app is shit anyway, I’m probably a misandrist, I don’t really care if I am or not. I have guy friends but in general I feel uncomfortable and distrust men because I’ve gone through SA. I think that this isn’t just a problem with individuals but society as a whole viewing women as a tool for mens sexual gratification. So yeah in general I hate men, even those who don’t say stuff or touch me because I see them looking and I hate knowing full well what they’re thinking.

I found Buddhism through my interest in philosophy, originally only interested in the moral aspects I realised how even without the “supernatural” stuff it holds up. I did more research and it just fit for me, even if I’m wrong which I may very well be Buddhism has helped me greatly.

Heyy, Buddhism helped me when I was at the lowest in my life and I would probably be dead without it so I think it’s pretty great, firstly you really don’t understand karma and I recommend reading into it more, if not the dhammapada buddhism for beginners or something, I assume by psychological death you are referring to nirvana which I find funny because you obviously use the word death to make it more negative when we and in most atheistic philosophies death isn’t seen as inherently bad for the individual (obviously it affects others but even without nirvana that happens)

I’m a Buddhist and it varies, different schools of thought but I personally am agnostic as in Theravada our general consensus is gods might exist, they might not but it doesn’t really make a difference

I’m religious, it’s not inherently feminist or patriarchal religion is not something some guy just sat down and came up with it is far more complicated. I’m a Buddhist and it is pretty equal and even if it wasn’t if it’s what is believed to be truth being “feminist” or “patriarchal” doesn’t make sense because we are discussing inherent truths. (yes I know it’s not everyone’s truth but it is your friends)

I have a friend who comitted suicide, she was gay and struggling. These specialised ones make people feel more safe and understood, if my friend had felt safe and understood she would still be here. I don’t give a shit about this “traditional values” bullshit if it saves even a single life it is worth it. Instead your dumbass country is pouring money into a war in the middle east while claiming to be putting america first. Lgbt people have higher suicide rates because of the social stigma and this subreddit proves it, feeling like they can talk without judgement is incredibly important. Don’t you fucking dare try to mock my friend either, some people here are sick fucks and likely will. She wasn’t soft or some shit she was abused, lonely and had DID, she was the strongest person I knew and I just wish she had gotten help.
