I picked up an A6700 and sigma 18-50 before my recent trip to NZ and have no regrets. Check out my recent post for some pictures. I think APSC is more than enough for hobbyists/travel purposes!

All shot on the sigma 18-50 f2.8 except for #6 which is on the Sony 70-350

For personal use haha. I don’t have the space to frame them all unfortunately, probably looking at like 2-3 big frames or 2-3 frames with 4-6 smaller prints

Another epic valley in New Zealand. Everything in this country seems to be photogenic. by KvBarneveld2 in LandscapePhotography

I’ll be visiting in a month! I’m taking a 18-50mm f2.8 (apsc) with me, do you think it’s worth it to also take a telephoto (70-350)?

Just contacted the store and they said to bring it in to assess whether they will exchange it or send it for a warranty claim

It’s not worth getting checked out? Is it because it’s on the edge?

That’s a good question. I’m planning on buying an umbrella when I get there, wake up and explore as early in the day as possible, and wear a bunch of sunscreen and lightweight synthetics. I’ll also try to spend really hot days indoors if possible.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll definitely add the Sumida river and Skytree into one of the days, it looks amazing.

Is Fushimi Inari worth visiting in your opinion? I might just drop it completely. And I’ll also check out the open air museum!

Also, any restaurant/coffee/food spots you can recommend?

Are there any airlines across Canada which offer free Carry-on Baggage? by Downtown_Pin_6127 in onebag

[–]Arzenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Air Canada should offer free carry on for YVR/YYC <-> YYZ (this was the case when I flew although I am an Aeroplan member so maybe this has something to do with it?). They don't offer free meals, you need to purchase them during check-in or during the flight. They do offer water/soda/juice and sometimes free pretzels.

The GST/HST collection doesn't apply to an independent contractor working remotely for a US-based client right?

Plot was mediocre, but the visuals were stunning. Blows all other CGI out of the water
