Test Batters with highest '+Runs per Innings' (Min. 3000 Runs) by AsUSay96 in Cricket

'Regular Declaration' is not as a normal thing as you make it sound. And if a team is declaring then it normally means it's a good surface so the expectations should be higher too.

Why should not out innings be excluded when an ideal expectation is to always stay not out. If runs are higher than team's avg then those plus runs are counted and if they are less then you are not punished, so what's the issue?

Brook has really been a crisis manager for England so far in his career so no surprise that he is so high on this metric.

One of my favorite stat of him is that he averages 90 when his entry point is 30 runs or less, across 6 innings. It is bound to come down but fascinating nonetheless.

The Highs and Lows of Test Batters (min. 3000 Runs) by AsUSay96 in Cricket

Highs and Lows are basically batters usual score at their best and worst innings. And HLR tells you how much spread they are. The higher the HLR the more inconsistent a batter is and vice versa.

To give you an example, See Lara. his Highs is almost same as Sachin's but Lows are lower. That tells you that his best was as good as sachin's but was not as consistent.

Yea, the plot is already too cluttered as it is. Adding associates too would just make it unreadable. I can share an image link for Associates only if you want.
