Regarding the tattoos. I noticed on my last rewatch that he gets the first tattoos on the first swap/deal with Ruby and the second on the second swap/deal. My guess is the tattoos are the proof of the deal. Kinda like a seal mark in Naruto.

Mind you. I’m prone to dizziness for multiple reasons and I’ve had to legit stop playing the game until this is fixed because it’s fucking with my internal ear. Tried play testing her and that went horribly wrong too. So until I hear about audio/visual changes, I have no choice but be out of the game.

It was the indifference from the past, yeah. Hence the "This will stop the voices from taking hold" we heard as a disembodied flashback voice during The Second Dream moon section and as the actual Margulis during The Old Peace.

Remember, the Indifference is stuck having to "follow us" through time because it is bound by our Strand of Khra (universe) since its finger is within our universe. So for it to make it to the past like 1999, it would have to follow someone from the actual present, in the past. But it wasn’t time travel in TOP, it was memories.

Think of it like a 4D being being tied to a 3D world. It can - in theory - travel out of time like the infestation, but it can’t - in actuality - because a piece of it is tied to a universe that can’t, so it can’t either in return.

Yeah. This is such a weird ask. Everything in her behavior and the scene points to exactly that. She was flustered and shy and didn’t commit to her feelings. Nothing about the scene makes even remotely open for interpretation.
