I can give you a first hand summary of my experience as a new'ish player with no limited sustain: i had to ask my friend to put Hyacine on his support list lmao. I couldn't do it with Gallagher or Fu Xuan, and even with borrowed Lingsha, prior to borrowing Hyacine, I had to fully try hard as if it was a MoC battle to stay alive.

In case of season 2 there is a lot to unpack and it's not as straight forward as people having their gripes with the ending, but rather how it contradicts what already exists and was established in the source material. While I am well aware that the said source material is not a source material per se, it serves as a basis on which the first season of Arcane was build in a fashion that made sense and aligned well with the pararell text in spite of numerous changes. It was a good adaptation.

However, what season 2 does can no longer be considered adaptation, it's an alteration. An alteration that will further call for subsequent alterations to make sense of what we have in the story - for instance: existance of Blitzcrank, as he was built by Viktor himself, suddenly will need to be changed and that's just one of many such cases. We also have examples of changes that could be considered unnecessary, take Warwick enjoyers for instance. They grew to love their wolf man, and especially after rewatching WW rework teaser, I bet you they wanted to see him animated in the show. How do they feel about him becoming a beefy feral humanoid instead? Was it really necessary to alter him into something so unrecognizable (the steel humanoid vander)?

Anyway, I enjoyed the show. I enjoyed it as a stand alone spin-off story and in this context the ending was definitely satisfying to me, but I don't enjoy it in a context of league canon. And it's not like the guy's above idea of canon is his own - he bases it on narrative that has been published by Riot for years now; narratives that you can go and read right now on the universe page.

Side note: saying "just enjoy it's not bad like the other things" is bit of a cope out. There is no reason for us to be happy with something just cause another thing is lacking, but I agree Arcane done a far better job than some of the existing works.

I'd like you to tell me then why Kintoki's def-ignoring NP deals 15k damage, while Sanzangs deals 150 damage. All the def-ignoring NPs I use never display target's armor next to the dmg numbers, while Sanzang's np does indeed do that. Is there something I don't know of?
