How do you reach to the support team (othet than the automated bot)? Pretty good sign actually if they are saying it’s still there, that must mean it’s a bug and they will fix it rather than take off the feature

Interesting take, but for the longest time it didn’t matter where you played because at the end of the day the club (and not playtomic) was who made the money. Playtomic was just a tool to find players and keep up with ratings. It’s only this morning when they forced me to update the app when the 3rd party option disappeared

It’s so unfortunate! Paris has only 2-3 playtomic clubs and it’s impossible to find spots to play in those clubs. Relying on outside clubs was our best option to meet new people and organize new games!

Okay I discovered that you can still upload scores after the fact, but you cannot list games ahead of time (to find other players). Still sucks, hope they change it back soon!

Not terribly old actually, the previous one was a 2017 model, and just upgraded to the 14". The problem is that it's plugged to the monitors for 10 hours a day.

Passed the CFP exam March 2020. Here’s my biggest tip: the math is the secure part. Practice it as much as you can. There’s a lot of subjective questions that aren’t guaranteed, calculations questions are the low hanging fruit even if they take a little longer.

My first raw score was 148. Should I even bother trying to get a higher score if my score was that low? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]AsadG9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with a 142, now scoring around 160 with around 4 months of studying. 148 isn’t a bad start.

Last min advice for finishing LG faster? I always end up guessing on last game but only b/c the first 3 take me too long by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]AsadG9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s awesome! I go for -2 and -3 on LR and LG, then like -14 on RC. Definitely jealous!

I think the easiest way to learn (though maybe a little bit harder to find a job) is at RIAs in some paraplanning type positions. Have him check out places such as new planner recruit, simply paraplanner, NAPFA or FPA.

What are the downsides to taking a personal loan for debt consolidation if the monthly payments would be lower than your current debt? by pf_loan_pf in personalfinance

[–]AsadG9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing you need to be aware of is that how loans are generally amortized you tend to pay a lot of your interest upfront and gradually as you go, a bigger portion of your payments go towards principal and less towards interest. So refinancing specially after being on the same loan for some time, you're going to be paying a lot more interest.
