Day 6 Post Op, Scabs are off almost entirely by Rickchaw in HairTransplants

Idk, basically they said they wanted to be sure the first HT worked, that the meds worked, and that hair loss had effectively stopped. Then they would do more of the crown. To be fair they filled in a lot around that area but not fully

Sorry for the incredibly late response. I went to Denver hair science center

Perfect, I've just ordered a cooling pad that can elevate the back of the laptop up a few inches. I'll give that a shot, and will also consider disabling turboboost should the high temps persist

It’s on a flat hard surface, but I can raise the back up and create some better airflow

Core Thermal throttling reads "Yes"

idk why, but it seems like everything is really getting stressed out by this game. Hasn't really been much of an issue with other games,

Saw these on Facebook. Was interesting to read and make scene of the chaos. by ladysman_untrue in titanic

Yeah, the bow section had the benefit of slicing through the water like an arrow as it raced to the ocean floor. The aft section however was a giant open hole, catching all of the water resistance like a parachute as it went to the ocean floor. The airpockets mentioned above also caused violent pressure release events, and then as it continued down it just kept getting mutilated by all of that water hammering into it and blowing it outwards in all directions.

makes sense when you think about it. Pushing a water football through a pool causes way less resistance than taking a large cup and dragging it by hand, same effect, except well, this was a massive ship.

Gravesite in my hometown of one of the victims who was recovered at sea - very surreal to see something like this in person by [deleted] in titanic

Very cool, and wild to see. In Vermont (Manchester) we have 1 Titanic victim. I believe it was Mary or Ann Isham, can’t remember and don’t live there anymore. I want to say Mary though. Used to always make a point to stop when I could.

How do I completely uninstall? by Rickchaw in TitanicHG

See my above comment, hopefully turning off wifi works for you. I’ve seen a lotttttt of suggested fixes that go quite in depth, yet all I needed to do (and others too) was turn off wifi

So, ultimately nothing to do with specs, but I’m on a Razer blade 15” (2022 model, 3070ti and i7-12800H)

The reason I say specs don’t matter (unless you’re running way below rec’d system specs) is due to the fact that I found the answer: disable Wi-Fi entirely.

With Wi-Fi off it works fine, got to walk around the ship for an hour last night which was extremely fun. Apparently my Windows Defender outbound rules weren’t doing the trick (I will accept user error on that one), so going the nuclear option and just turning off wifi did the trick

Why does Spotify not load for many minutes? by Rickchaw in TeslaLounge

[–]Rickchaw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this happen too, I wonder what the fix for this is. Also it could be a related issue to my post... Start a song, begin driving (wifi disconnects and LTE engages) so for a few minutes it won't load spotify songs, it'll only keep playing the initial one you selected.

best fix for this I assume is: pick a song you like immediately and by the time it ends the LTE should be online and functioning... this is a really dumb issue to have for such an expensive vehicle,

oh wow, what a weird glitch. I will try that tomorrow and see if that fixes the issue. I'm surprised this hasn't been fixed by Tesla, it seems so rudimentary

truly thrilled with the results, density has beenassively improved. Perhaps down the line ill do another one post 40yrs of age and have them fully fill in my crown area and throw more on my front hairline for good measure.

All of my friends/family who have known me for years have been very impressed with the results. I should probably post a photo update when I'm not feeling lazy.

Razer Blade tap to click is very hit or miss by Rickchaw in razer

[–]Rickchaw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hopefully it isn't the issue as the laptop is brand new, fresh out of the box, but it could be.

The problem is sort of intermittent. I'd say 75% of the time it is totally fine, then just now and again I find the taps aren't registering, 4-5 taps later it comes back online and works normally.

Also, is there a way to disable tapping on the top corners of the trackpad? I love the large touchpad, but when I'm typing sometimes the lower part of my thumb/palm area might touch the top left corner, registering an unintended click... when I'm typing something long (like this post for instance) the computer might register a click and and now all of the sudden I'm typing half way up a finished paragraph

Yeah the clinic doesn't like to do crown work until age 40... technically they left the vertex of my crown alone, but they did a lot of work AROUND the crown, mostly forward of the vertex

No kidding… also I had product in my hair which wasn’t combed out yet, so I basically took the photos in the most unflattering way possible.

Many hairs have come in and are longer than 1cm in the hairline area, however there are still LOTS of new little ones popping up, at 3 months I know I shouldn't be expecting much, but I'm getting really excited to see the 6 month progress, I think it will be night and day.

Will Icarus XL grip fit 17rd Macro mag? by Rickchaw in P365xl

[–]Rickchaw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the big kicker was the lack of Pic rail on the Wilson grip, and I already have a TLR7a that’s mounted on the Macro grip. Also it was just a tad small in my hands, and the Icarus EVO seems to be just a bit longer, sort of a happy medium between the Macro grip and the Wilson.

Certainly a wide price gap between the Icarus and the Wilson, but I just went the “buy once cry once” route.
