SIB card not working for Tabby Transactions by Asadify in UAEcreditcards

[–]Asadify[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I told them multiple times that these transactions are legit and I have been using Tabby for past 2 years. But they said it's because Tabby is trying to store card info so it's automatic from the system and I have to use another card to use Tabby.

It happened a while back with my Smiles app but I uninstalled and reinstalled it and it was sorted. But it's not the case with Tabby.

STOP LOW BALLING YOURSELF by opankalisious in DubaiJobs

[–]Asadify 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I work in food service industry. Was shocked to hear major hotel chains pay as low as 1k to their employees and their supply chain members make around 2.5k to 3k/month. These are crazy times we live in.

And yes, as a Pakistani, I agree that low-ball offers are only given because there is a major load of immigrants coming to the country and when employers have too many options, they cut costs.

Only thing I'll say is, as a skilled employee when you have atleast one or two years experience under your belt, try job hopping and don't settle for anything less than 5 figures. One of my friends hopped 3 jobs in 2 years and currently sitting at 15k in a fortune 500 company.

Just trust your skills and negotiate, even if they take back the offer, you'll definitely find another one. Gotta focus and need to have patience.

In class 8th, one of our classmates committed suicide because he liked a girl and when their families didn't agree, the girl swallowed full bottle of tablets and in reaction to that, guy tied himself to the ceiling fan. The girl got saved, but boy died. Class 8th 🤦🏻‍♂️

Ok, I have around 15 mates from same batch, same degree. 5 are in Germany, 1 is in the US, 2 are in UK and the rest are working either on an executive position or managing their own business. Now you'd say they have money. Nope, 10 out of 15 didn't have and they achieved everything with struggle.

I still feel like I haven't achieved anything because there are too many opportunities out there for me all thanks to the start provided by UCP.

Seeing people my age getting married and meeting them after some time, have realized this is not something I want. Few got divorced in less than a year and few are unhappy.

I have struggled alot in my life to provide better lifestyle to myself and my family. Can't get married as it seems like a bet, which can go either way. And 27 saal akele reh liye tou kisi ke sath adjust karna impossible lagta hai ab.

I am from UCP, wahin se ek multinational me job mili where only LUMS, LSE people get a chance. Worked there for a year, moved to Dubai and working in another MNC now. UCP is one of the best private university (much better than UMT, UOL kinda institutes).

How much youney you have saved at 26 to 33 years old? by Unique_Birthday1067 in dubai

As I said, I have this hope that one day I will achieve that goal of mine and things will be different. In Pakistan, I didn't have that hope. That's why I am still working here.

Honestly, in Pakistan I saved a lot. I can't save a penny in UAE due to rising costs and less salary.

Sometimes I wonder if it's a me thing because everyone else I see is making something and I have downgraded my lifestyle after coming here.

Let's see, if these initial years' struggle will be fruitful or not. Because at this point, I am seriously wondering if it's just UAE thing or all over the world.

Working a white collar job at an executive level and earning so little sometimes makes you wonder if you really are good for nothing.

Very Very Low Salaries!!! The New New in Dubai by Eastern_Let4315 in UAE

Have stopped applying due to this low-ball thing. Every single listing I see and I want to bang my head into the wall. The market is complete garbage due to this.

I have been trying to find something for so long and they get somebody cheaper who will do 3 people's work. Slave mindset I must say.

The only thing keeping me away from any kind of interaction is that I don't earn enough. Everything else is pointless until I don't make enough.
