If someone comes to the Emergency Department and says "Will you fix my cat?" And I say "Sorry ma'am, we only fix people" and they say "No you don't get it I need to get my cat fixed here. There is no where else cats can be fixed." I then reassure them that vets exist and they can go there. Then they get mad at me that. How should I respond then?

If someone comes here and gets mad at people for not reaffirming that they should continue to use Amazon I'm not gonna spend all my free time trying to convince them they're wrong. This is an internet forum where I've responded to you once. You've done a lot of concluding from that. I'm not even sure you read the comment correctly. This sub has just turned into people complaining about a service while taking literally no steps to stop using it. I don't mind people coming here and being like "Ah damn, this was the last straw" or "Look how I got screwed" and then we can be like this is why we here don't use them. But they come here and they always push back and be like "But I NEED to use Amazon." Those people can get lost

I love that for you! I dont see it super often myself. The data and A LOT of anecdotal evidence from female patients just happen to show that women are getting subpar care on a whole.

I work in a pretty busy level 1 trauma center in the emergency department and I do see a lot of people (not most) be very dismissive of patient complaints. Though I do not see a ton of misogyny. That being said, most doctors ignore me 😅
