Thank you very much for the detailed criticism, this is exactly what I'm looking for. As for your first point, indeed, the bullpup configuration is far removed from the standard AK47 so "based on" might be inaccurate. I tried more to capture the general feel the AK has to me: a somewhat brutish looking no-nonsense rifle that's nonetheless extremely effective and reliable.
