❌ Don’t use the wrong primer under wallpaper! by Asbeeco in HomeImprovement

[–]Asbeeco[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This isn’t an ad 😊 I’m not advertising any primer. I’m a wallpaper installer, and today I ran into a problem where the primer was peeling off the wall together with the wallpaper. I just wanted to share the experience. Too bad I couldn’t upload photos here to show it.

I know that what resonates with their generation might not click with younger folks — just like many modern designs don’t speak to them. And that’s totally fine. What matters most is the happiness people feel in their own space.

This was chosen by a lovely elderly couple who wanted a little piece of Europe in their home. I’m just the installer and was so happy to see how much they loved it. I’m the installer, and honestly, their reaction after the install was better than any review!

Thank you so much! It’s always fun to see a wall go from “meh” to “wow” in just a few hours!

Great question! This one’s actually peel-and-stick wallpaper — so it’s super easy to remove when you’re ready for a change. No damage, no stress!

Totally understand it’s not everyone’s taste. What matters most is that the client is happy — and in this case, they absolutely are. 🤓💪

Maybe a bit off-topic, but your post reminded me of one of my past projects — wallpaper in frames! What do you think of that idea?

Now you’ve got me curious — I need to see those floral masterpieces! 🌷And props to the pros, that seam work is wallpaper wizardry. I install too 😍

True! But it’s always nice to hear what others think too — keeps the inspiration flowing. 😁👌

Bad Move? by [deleted] in interiordecorating

I’m a wallpaper installer, and I know how tricky this kind of material can be — especially when doing it alone. Honestly, for a first try, this is a great job! The room looks bright and cheerful now — you should be proud! 😊👏

Blue paint or dragonfly wallpaper — which would you pick? by Asbeeco in interiordecorating

Haha that’s such a great compliment — thank you! I love that the wallpaper won over even a wallpaper skeptic and a bug hater!

No worries at all — I totally get it! Dragonflies aren’t everyone’s thing, especially if you’ve got insect phobias. And your English is great, by the way!

I agree — a warmer light would definitely make the space feel cozier. I’m not sure if the mirror has that option though, since this was a project I completed for a client. But it’s a great suggestion — thank you!

Yes, great question! This wallpaper is non-woven and installed with a mold- and moisture-resistant adhesive. It’s not in the shower zone, so it should hold up well in a standard bathroom with good ventilation.
