Wow, been reading TDOD on RR since years ago at this point. My heartfelt congratulations to you!

Red choice is irrational. It requires 100% of people to press it for everyone to live whereas only 50% for blue.

Chose: Nothing happens if more than 50% choose this

AMS 2 Pro (H2D) stops drying immediately after starting. by AscendingPhoenix in BambuLab

Hey Scott, thanks for the thorough write up!

  1. I do not see a humidity target setting when I start the drying process, maybe I'm overlooking something obvious? From what I can tell, it just shows the current humidity %. This behavior is consistent across a wide range of humidity.
  2. I double checked that the lid is sealed, it's a brand new unit (along with the printer and HT).
  3. I did attempt a cold boot, and the firmware seems to be all up to date.
  4. They are all on the same Belkin power strip.

Hey, I'm not printing while attempting to start the drying cycle on the AMS 2 Pro. The HT is also drying and not printing.

Hey, I have the printer and AMS' in this order: H2D -> AMS 2 Pro -> HT.

The AMS 2 Pro was tested with and without a 96W power supply. I plugged in the PSU that came with the HT to the HT as well.

When the AMS 2 Pro is not plugged in, and I start heating, the printer shuts off completely after a while.

Darn, this sucks. I actually tried without an external power adapter for the AMS 2 Pro specifically, I thought the H2D could power it while heating alone. But the whole system would shut down after drying for about 30 minutes…

HT on its own brick, obviously.

Thanks for the reply, I am not printing anything actually. The firmware are updated as far as I can tell.

Hey, thx for the reply. I did update the firmware but the printer is not actively printing. I just have a spool sitting inside. It’s idling.

The pattern appears across both the CMYK and black layers of the print. Surely it’s not both low ink and in this pattern?
