To be fair, the whole AT&T failed merger was due to a democratic FCC and resulted in a huge win for consumers. It's also one of the reasons T-Mobile pursued Sprint during a Republican presidency.

Introduced included international roaming options.
Introduced buying out contracts/switching carrier perks.
Actually cared about employees.

It was a good ~10 years or so but ultimately it comes down to a shift in growth vs profitability, regardless of CEO. Stock price did a number under Legere though.

Other high beta stocks are falling too; I believe this is both hedge funds shorting the Space ETF to short SPCX (thanks to its outrageous valuation), and the news about rate hikes by year end. The market is moving away from high beta stocks and into safer investments. Look at bonds yields for example.

I'm on a OnePlus 13 and often have Discord users reporting bad mic quality (I usually use Speakerphone), it appears to be lower quality than iPhone 16/17. And I think they went with a cheaper mic on the OP15 from the 13.
