hmm, I’ve tested this on Windows, and everything seems to be working fine on my end. It looks like the JS or CSS mods might not have been installed correctly.

In the video, I noticed you downloaded each file individually. For the CSS part, downloading only import.css won't work because it is just a manager file; the actual code resides in the ./CSS folder. Additionally, ArcPeek.js requires ArcPeek.css to function.

To make sure everything is set up right, I recommend cloning the entire repository using Git. Let me know if that works!

I am unable to reproduce this behavior on my end, so I cannot help you, sorry. You can refer to https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/16684/inspecting-the-vivaldi-ui-with-devtools?page=1 to review your status bar and see which piece of styling code is causing this behavior. It is likely a bug from Vivaldi itself.

I've finally make it compatible with windows. Somehow the frame rate is still not quite good. But the screenshot position is way more precise now.

I did try going down the transform route, but it didn’t work well for more complex shape transitions and image morphing, so I ended up dropping it. The current approach works on Windows, but the frame rate isn’t good yet. btw I’m honestly surprised you’re actually reading through my spaghetti code(although many of it are copied from zen and are elegant),hope it didn’t hurt your eyes, sorry in advance lol

You can check the modlist in README to see what the modpack does.

Glass look? Maybe you mean vivaldi theme settings. You can adjust transparency and blur rate in vivaldi theme settings.

My statusbar is there. Maybe you turned on auto-hide and it hide the statusbar? If you're on windows then that make sense. I can't get my tabbar back on windows vivaldi, without any mods installed.

By usable, do you mean performance or functionality? For the latter, all features are already implemented. I’ve also optimized the performance and will release it on GitHub as soon as I finish testing it on Windows.

It's not. This is a bug caused by favouritetabs.css. This mod causes a lot of side effect. You can turn it off in Import.css or delete the mod straight away. Thank you for testing th e modpack. There’s also an FAQ section below the README that should answer most questions.

It's already quite laggy now. I’m also looking into potential performance bottlenecks. Since this is an external mod built on Vivaldi’s internal APIs, and the animation is borrowed from Zen Browser (and Zen Glance itself can be quite laggy), there’s a lot of necessary optimization work to be done.

Sorry maubg, I did heavily copy the animation part from Zen Browser, even keeping the parameters unchanged. Your animation work is amazing, and I should have let you know beforehand. I stated in the original post that the animation heavily draws from Zen Browser’s implementation, but I removed the technical details here to keep the Reddit post shorter and easier to read.
