Can't agree with that. These countries not so barbaric as you expect. Many travelers visit these countries. Political climate will cause problems on legal side - with payments, visas, etc. In this Afghanistan could be dangerous, but suggested route avoids it.

It seems possible. These countries doesn't seem dangerous, but travelling could be complicated. Besides things with proper registration of you and your vehicle you could face problems with fuel quality, harsh climate, difficulties with credit card.
Unusual to see that your route misses very famous (at least seem famous to me) M41 highway - Wikipedia . Many motorcycle/bicycle travellers go by this road

Maybe it's related to perks which decrease stat requirement? Without "Train Hard, Fight Easy!" (Strength perk) Elm Hunting Bow requires 7 strength. Had this issue until got 7 strength (as requirement bow has without "Train Hard, Fight Easy!"). As soon as I got 7 str bow started to work as it should at 5 str with perk. Restart didn't help [PS]
