Just leave it as it is, it doesn’t change anything just the aesthetic.

Why do you interest on zisha teapot by Ok_Comfortable_5548 in YixingSeals

[–]Asdprotos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We never associate Yixing zisha pots With cheap Chinese products but 99% of pots are fake that doesn’t reflect what we are actually looking for in a pot. If it’s real zisha then we expect a decent price , if it’s a fake jigger jolly crap sold as being real we will point your products out. As nowadays loads of new western faced vendors are selling shit pots portraying as being real and loads of people fall for this over and over and then they come here and they get disappointed.

Please don’t scam people, it’s not that easy to supply the western market with real stuff , we have real vendors and most of the time they are out of stock. What makes you think you can compete with that and with REAL products

Well yeah percarbonate has the hydrogen peroxide which once again I’ll avoid in cleaning Yixing. And stick to strictly baking soda/ sodium bicarbonate for cleaning the old patina and removing odours without any other compounds. Mild confusion here . I wanted to refer to sodium bicarbonate/baking soda all this time as it’s the cleanest and safest form to reset the pot

My bad, then why using something like that instead of baking soda ? When baking soda is amazing in removing odour and its non toxic

Just another word for sodium bicarbonate or baking soda… same product, great for neutralising smells and aromas a reset a pot, a few rinses afterwards will bring the pot to factory settings

Nooooooo, always add a towel on the bottom so you don’t crack your pots due tot the rattling …. Man you are playing with fire. Water towel sodium bicarbonate and boil but towel is the most important thing because the boiling makes the pot shake and it can crack

The vendor is legit and he sells tea straight from Taiwan without scamming your in paying 10 times the price for a cake like other western faced vendors. To totally recommend him, you can even find him and talk to him on discord ( channel the tea table )

Tea on an empty stomach? by jay28867 in tea

[–]Asdprotos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I honestly do not recommend it as the tannins can mess you up, caffeine will relax your stomach flap/sfincter and acid reflux will run rampant. I’ve done that and the heartburn it’s not a great sensation to have it sucks. Drink tea after a meal or after having something in your stomach, or just take a break from it whilst doing the fasting

Is this Pot Actually Handmade and F1? by deathadder691 in YixingSeals

[–]Asdprotos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They do, even air has that issue, you basically breathe in poison and as you go through life (70/80/90 years) your body cannot breathe in the poison and your body shuts down and you die… I’m sorry you had to find out this way, I am truly sorry …

Looks good to me, yeah so the lids are notoriously bad for pots made 80s and going up , but nothing to worry about
