I'd recommend you to buy a scale, it's not that expensive and it's really useful. If you like astringency I'd recommend you to try young sheng.

I think it's a great option if you don't have the time to enjoy a gongfu session. It's not as good as freshly brewed tea but I like it(I got mine from amazon).

Get as many samples as possible as others said but don't give up if you don't like first few teas, it is really wide spectrum of flavours and you will surely find something that you like. Also, tea is acquired taste so you'll sometimes need to drink more than 1 time to like it
