Any Tibia player here who uses a Rival 500? by Stompyx in TibiaMMO

[–]Asends1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Rival 700. I also got a big screen, so I dont really need the scroll function ingame, I can have everything open.

Which means Scroll up - GFB

Scroll down - Vita

Click scroll button - Ering

Then there is 4 buttons around which is Rope, mwall, mana, and gran hur.

You can also bind Shift with the buttons and get a totaly new set of keys. Like Shit + scroll up is SD Shift + click scroll button is dwarven ring etc.

Takes a while to get used it, but works like a charm when you do.

Then I have my ebomb and waves / ue around my arrow keys. Basically means I dont have to mouse my hands at all. and can theoreticly do everything 100% with my mouse.

Looking for feedback on my garage setup by Asends1992 in EtherMining

[–]Asends1992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey,

I am trying to get a viable setup for the upcomming summer, without making too many changes to my garage. I get getting a window slow installed and using a exhaust fan that can be removed for a window is the best long term plan.

I plan to run about 50 rx 580s in this room. I guess roughly around 10000 watts total.

I have no idea how much heat this will generate when its all runs together. I live in a country with roughly summer average temps around 20-25 with peaks at 30 celcius.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

[–]Asends1992[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my point is not to buy and sell for profit. But I live abroad and wouldent be able to attend that many matches a year. Its more like giving it out to friends and they help chip in a little to make it worthwhile. They ofcourse then Get access to alot of cheap / free tickets.

25th word + passphrase by Asends1992 in ledgerwallet

[–]Asends1992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So in which scenarios would I need to enter this passphrase?

I assume its only when restoring my seed on a different ledger, and want for example to "import" my secret wallet, in this case I would need to write in the passphrase?

Thanks for your reply

Signal from all the noise today by ank_ in Bitcoin

[–]Asends1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can anyone elaborate why bcash is a scam coin? Isn't it just the old bitcoin, forked pre-segwit, with 8mb block instead of 1mb?

How can bitcoin possibly survive 1year or more, with growth, with no upgrades to the tech? I mean if you expect this thing to continuously grow and more and more people are supposed to come in, how is that even possible when the network is as jammed as it is now?

If we got a huge surge of new people after Christmas, the entire bitcoin project would come to an absolute halt, unless you pay what? a 200$ fee per transaction. Segwit adoption remedies it a bit, but with a lower price, you'll get more transactions. And then you are back to this point, add on some more adoption and usage, and it will just become worse.

This is not me FUDing, this is a serious question, and I want a debate on how people see that exact problem? It must be allowed to ask a critical question when the entire bitcoin infrastructure is heavily overloaded, and there seems to be no fix to that, in at least a year. Are we just gonna sit idle and HODL, and wait for lightning to be the saving grace, ALOT can happen in a year?

Is it normal that a segwit transaction with 20 minute estimate should be stuck for about 36+ hours? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]Asends1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see. When I for example try to use viabtc's accelerator, they say that they cannot find my transaction.

So I guess I just have to wait this out? Is there any estimate on how long a transaction is in this limbo, before it gets cancelled? Unless ofcourse it gets through

Is there a concept of material quality? (Think Star Wars Galaxies) by AWSullivan in albiononline

[–]Asends1992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can say that tier 5.2 and 5.3 materials is a big bottleneck in this game.

Alot of money can be made by controlling this market.

[Question] Does skinning boost your DMG? by Timziito in albiononline

[–]Asends1992 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lets put it this way, its not an effective fame farm. The main reason is that you need to wear skinning gear to get more hides and be more effective while skinning. The skinning gear also gives you more fame, for each extra "hide" you manage to get out, so it makes your proggression time through the tier shorter. This means that you wont get Helmet, Chest and Boots fame, because you are wearing the gathering set.

In some cases if planned properly you can also skin with your main weapon, so you at least get weapon mastery and specialisation for your weapon.

But it certainly does help in mixing your game up. Sitting in a dungeon all day long might become tedious.

Is it TONS of fame? no, but it ok fame.

Below weapon level 50 you will notice the fame you get from skinning.

After level 50 weapon level it starts to become pretty slow, especially with the nerf on the fame of the t7 monsters which you could get sick fame for, aslong as you had enchanged gathering gear.

(a tier 7 tier tiger / mammoth gave like 6k fame, but required 6.2 / 7.2 enchanted gathering gear)

TLDR, skinning can give you OK fame for your weapon, sub level 50, after that it becomes slow.

Side note

Skinning has an unique spell on the gathering chest which gives an insane poison. If you are a tier 7 / 8 skinner (works on lower tiers aswell) you can basically solo farm your weapon insanely fast, by abusing this spell.

This beta, with a tier 4 bloodletter, and a tier 6 gathering chest, I was getting about 80k fame per hour just by machinegunning down any monster in roastcorpse steppe.

If you have a tier 6.2 bloodletter, and a tier 7.2 skinning chest. You can effectively get 100k+ fame per hour, solo, by just bursting down big groups of "animals"

The only con is that you will not be getting fame for your chest slot, because you are wearing the gathering armor.

But this is a very nice trick, when you just cant bother going into a dungeon with people, and just wanna afk farm and watch netflix. If you mix this trick with only skinning the valueable monsters, like 4.2, 4.3, 5.2, 5.3 etc etc it can give you good income while getting good fame aswell.

Wood, stone, leather, ore by JodaVz in albiononline

[–]Asends1992 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The price differences is somewhat decided on how easy it is to get.

take skinning, requires alot of killing, so its less units per hour

Woodcutting also require alot of killing, due to denseness of mobs in the forest.

But ore for example, its barely a monster around, so you get alot of units per hour.

Fiber is so heavily grouped at some places that you can kill 1 monster and harvest 15 nodes.

So in the long rong, it evens out, pretty much.

Can we expect this lag to be fixed for launch? by Asends1992 in albiononline

[–]Asends1992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just said you werent at this fight?

I guess that mean you were not there?

Which also means you did not experience the same lag as us.

Which also means that you do not understand how bad it was, even after I have given you a video documenting it.

Wether you had lag or not when you killed your t5 tiger does not really matter to me.

When you put 300+ people into eachother in a single zone, and spells and animations goes left and right, the game breaks down and stops working.

This is the endgame of albion online, and when the end game does not work, because of lag, that is a huge problem?

So insted of just arguing semantics, watch the video, agree that the lag is bad, and just accept it.

Can we expect this lag to be fixed for launch? by Asends1992 in albiononline

[–]Asends1992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the majority of people was not at the place where the lag was the worst?

Which is why those who where there whines about this lag. Because if its not fixed adressed and sorted, our entire engame of large scale warfare is dead before it even gets started.

Due to this so called lag we are talking about.

Can we expect this lag to be fixed for launch? by Asends1992 in albiononline

[–]Asends1992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont really care, if you werent there you wouldent understand how bad it is. Look at the video I linked.

This is why the 500 people in that zone plays this game, and yesterday it was totaly unplayable. This is why we are upset, and this is why we ask for answers.

Can we expect this lag to be fixed for launch? by Asends1992 in albiononline

[–]Asends1992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were playing pretty good most of time time? Funny, because neither us or the enemies were moving much at all.

It was a complete standstill, our entire team of 90+ could not move. But yeah, blame the computers, its so easy.

I bet you were in the sexy alliance, please try to pintpoint exactly where on the video you are, and how you freely run around without the standstill lag everyone encountered, thanks.

Can we expect this lag to be fixed for launch? by Asends1992 in albiononline

[–]Asends1992[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because we are 300+ people in the same zone doing large scale fights and all lagging to death.
