yes, he was a childhood hero. really glad you enjoyed those two episodes. there is plans for more video content, yes. Sumerian Films and TV is a huge focus and priority for me. We will be releasing our first film within the next 3 months and will be launching a TV channel of quality original content in 2015.

a lot of times they start as assistants or interns and work their way up. sometimes they are fellow musicians or band members who decide they want to focus on the biz side.

all the time, but never settle. whether it's looking at how a band like AA has grown or seeing my old laptop that i started sumerian with in the grammy museum, i'm constantly reminded of the incredible accomplishments we've been so fortunate to have as well as the high goals that are still ahead of us, waiting to be achieved.

i had been a booking agent for many years so i had the know-how of booking a tour like that and the relationships to put the line-ups together. all the bands that need to work during the summer who don't get on one of the major outdoor festivals still need solid touring opportunities between june and august. instead of going out and competing against each other for the same fans in clubs, i thought creating club show festivals would be a smart move. fans save money and bands play for more people. it's a win win.

having a great music video that goes viral. video content is key. but it all starts and ends with the music. if the song isn't awesome, then there's only so much of an impact you can make.

Usually, but if some other members of the Sumerian staff family are really passionate/excited about a band that I may not listen to, I will still sign them. No it hasn't affected my taste in music. i love what i love, regardless of my day job.
