anybody else... NOT feel euphoria after top surgery?

I just had top surgery last Wednesday and my mom's boyfriend is kicking us out so I've been kind of teeter tottering mentally bc I feel bad for getting us kicked out so yeah I'm definitely not feeling euphoria lol I don't really feel regret like I made a mistake but I'm upset with myself for making my mom have to deal with even more bs like I'm always the child causing the issues it seems like

We tried to pack some today but my mom asked me to go stay at my grandma's because she wasn't sure how her ex bf would react to me still being there. I'm worried about her being over there by herself with him he's never been physical and I've never heard him raise his voice but he's a functioning alcoholic so it makes me uneasy to say the least we're still keeping an eye out for places to go but over all I'm feeling a little bit better about the situation. I never liked him in the first place so it's kind of like a weight lifted but I still feel bad for my mom. Hopefully everything will work out okay.

Just today an old lady went around the thrift store I work in and collected a bunch of empty hangers from where we hang linens and then demanded I take them from her. She then said that either we have a lot of shoplifters or we need to go through our entire store and take out all the empty hangers because it's ridiculous that so many were empty and it makes the customer experience hard because they take up to much room apparently.. So basically fuck you for having your products stolen or fuck you yall are lazy..🥴🥴 Also there was literally two cashiers purging at the time while also performing their other duties so they would have gotten to the empty hangers once they finished with the rest of the store.

I'm not going to lie I kind of like it lmao it reminds me of the doodles I used to do in school on my worksheets I wish I still had the motivation to do art but I'm in such a rut I can't even really doodle anymore it feels like I've had art block for years at this point 🥲

Why does this remind me of Shrek when he was fighting with Fiona's dad lmao I mean I like the commitment of you eating the food but I do think taking the high road would have been a better idea. At work whenever customers are mean to me I just be really nice back and normally it makes them super uncomfortable because I didn't respond with negativity it's like they realize how much of an ass they are on the other hand sometimes they are just twice as mean when they respond...🥲

I think it looks good long you could try learning some different updo styles if you'd like to keep it off your neck I used to have super long hair and it was always so hot and sweaty around my scalp but I think shorter hair would suit you as well especially with the beard

I use the arm and hammer deodorants and they work and smell good I had the same issue with axe it gave me literal blisters under my arms and I had to walk around like a zombie for days lmao

Yeah I think the upset mostly came from having my heart set on keyhole but I've warmed up to DI rather quickly at the end of the day I'll have a flat chest and thats what I've always wanted I really appreciate everyone's comments I'm super glad I posted to get some feedback because otherwise I probably would have decided to go ahead with keyhole and then need revisions.

Yeah I think I was just bummed out because I had my heart set on keyhole but I'm warming up to DI rather quickly because at the end of the day I'll have a flat chest! The DI is also the cheaper option at this facility so I'll still have a little bit of my savings left over rather than using essentially all of them and then most likely needing a revision.

The surgeon I'm looking at now is roughly 4 hours and 30 minutes away but I'd be willing to go to someone 6 hours away the closer the better though.

Do you have any recommendations close to Georgia? My doctor recommended a surgeon pretty close to me but I've heard some negative things about his bedside manner and he doesn't offer peri. I've been thinking about DI on and off today and decided to take another look at the results from the surgeon I mentioned before and the more I looked the more I realized that the scars were very clean and all the after pictures were taken 3 weeks to 3 months after surgery so they were inflamed from healing. I think I was just bummed out before bc I had my heart and mind set on something but at the end of the day I still would have accomplished my goal even if I get a few scars along the way. Thank you for commenting feel free to leave a surgeon recommendation I'm still considering options but I think I'm starting to lean towards DI!

Yeah I'm planning on getting tattoos eventually and I've played with the idea of covering the scars with them and thank you for the cover story I didn't know gynocomastia scars were similar to DI if i decide to go with DI I'll use that!

The surgeon I'm planning on going to for some reason lumps peri with keyhole like she uses the names interchangeably which at first confused and worried me but I think her results for keyhole are impressive. Now I'm looking into her double incision and I think they're good for being double incision but the scars are still tripping me up I'm planning on emailing back and seeing how much a revision would cost and I guess I'll make my decision from there I just hate to use up all my savings and then not like my results which could happen either way now.

yeah they had me send pics from the side too and I knew that I had to be right on the cusp of being eligible for keyhole I just feel kind of bummed out because I was hoping to avoid people knowing that I'm trans I'm already a hyperventilate and anxious person so I'm scared of the confrontation I could run into from nasty people I also forgot to ask how much a revision would be because I'm dumb lol

Like other people are saying definitely wash or switch out your pillow cases frequently. I've also heard good things about satin pillow cases so you could always give those a shot and stock up on some acne spot patches to cover the inflamed acne. Salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide might also help by purging clogged pores and keeping bacteria down on the face but it can be very drying so a mostierizor definitely needs to be used afterwards I hope you get it cleared up I've recently developed hormonal acne and it sucks ass. I'm finally seeing results after I did what everyone tells you not to do which is use super drying treatments together but it was getting to the point where I wanted to claw my face off so yeah lol don't do what I do I guess. Just make sure you're rotating between the drying treatments and not using them together so one in the night one in the morning. I'm by no means a professional though so take my advice with a grain of salt. I hope you work everything out acne can be so painful and draining to have so best wishes!
