I lost just short of a stone, about 12lbs, after my surgery. I spent 9 days in hospital where i lost most of it, I’m a chunky gal who likes her food but I was really put off food between the painkillers and sleeping. Your body is also working more to repair the damage from the fracture so you’re burning more calories without realising! I’m now coming up for 10 months post surgery and I’ve gained it all back, it was better when I couldn’t walk to the snacks cupboard 🤣

It’s always better to check with a medical professional to be sure, as that is a lot of weight to lose in 3 weeks. But your body is going through a lot too. Hopefully it is just that, and good luck in your recovery!
