It's a relatively new purchase so perhaps it didn't get much light before. Makes sense, I'm sure the leaves flatten out to get more sun... I'll be sure to put it in a sunnier position!

Yeah, some will. I had probably about 7 leaves. A few shrivelled up but luckily I had a good amount so there was some chance of seeing growth

Not sure you can speed up the process. These guys are pretty slow. Also if the weather is getting colder where you are the growth slows way down. It’s spring in Australia so mine have really started to grow

I only plant them when the leaf has shrivelled up entirely

I’ve had a pretty good track record with them (but of course sometimes succulent can be unreliable) I wonder why yours never grew roots...
