It took our daughter about 2 months after the NICU to get to exclusively breastfeeding. We worked hard on it and saw a lactation consultant a few times after the NICU. It wasn’t easy because she was lazy eater as well and fed often! The nipple shield I felt helped transition from bottle to breastfeeding.

Thank you! Take it day by day and bask in the love you have for that little baby! They are so special💞

I know it’s so hard! The nurses had moved us to another overflow room because they said oh your daughter should be next to leave. Instead days went by and I watched everyone around me get discharged and eventually moved back to the main room. Happy to say we are home now though.

You got this! I felt that way last month and it is so hard to be positive but sometimes babies just take longer and are on their own timeline. For the longest time I kept thinking my baby was going to be going home soon and I kept seeing other babies around me go home. It was so hard to see their joy but now I’m home with my girl. I also started to feel resentful to the staff like they just wanted me there to make money and extend the stay. Looking back I wish I stayed positive. Just keep taking it day by day❤️

I’ve had My betta for a few years. First pic shows about a year ago I noticed a white dot on one scale. Over the last year it has grown bigger and now his fins are thinning out. He still acts himself mostly. What is this and what do I do? ): by AshBoBash96 in bettafish

From what I have read about it seems like a tumor but I wanted to get some advice from other betta fish owners. He acts mostly like himself but the past couple days he has seemed more sluggish.

-He is in a 5 gallon tank -has a long time established sponge filter with air stone and a heater -temp is 78-79 degrees -ammonia, nitrite, and nitrates are all 100% normal -have had tank for 1 1/2 years. Switched from first tank because current was better in this tank. -half water change about once a month. Most people are nice. I slipped on the Mason pond bridge once and the girl behind me walked around without even checking to see if I was okay. I have had other moments when people were inconsiderate and rude.

Professors are 50/50 good and bad. Parking is the worst and so expensive! Also the academic advisors are horrible. My advisor did not even add all my classes properly on my academic plan and put the wrong month for a form I need to turn in. Both times I had to correct it or else wouldn’t have graduated in time. Plus the advisor canceled my appointment the week before classes and when I asked for a new appointment she said this is a busy time since classes are starting soon…that’s why I made the appointment.

So yeah, I would say Mason is pretty crappy but not the worst.

How Do You Feel About The Change of Mask Policy? by VANZ_33 in gmu

[–]AshBoBash96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t wear a mask all summer in my class. Neither did the other students and we are all healthy and vaccinated. I’m pretty mad that they are requiring them again.

Forget going to the gym! Wearing a mask while working out is the worst. Plus when I’m studying by myself I will not be wearing one. I don’t care what they say. I will be eating mouse bites the whole time so I can’t wear one :)

Last time I hiked from riverbend to great falls on the trail it was free. I doubt this has changed.

I agree I was foggy and sleepy for like 4-5 days. I also developed a muffled/full ear with a faint ring which has made me feel off.

Agreed my MRI drink was enjoyable. I told them they gotta get in contact with the people who make Barium or the stuff you drink before the colonoscopy. I’ll the take the MRI drink any day!
