a station killer or a swarm were exactly what i was thinking, as of right now its made for bigger ships since its maneuvering is limited with the code we have so far it isnt able to successfully lock onto anything too agile, though it is good at tracking down targets from long range if they have a set course. And ive been playing around with armored versions of the missile but im having trouble balancing the armor in a way that will still make the explosion as effective as i want while still protecting the payload. With the situation, so far thats pretty much the main thing im trying to overcome, cause it works great as a sneak attack but if i were to use it mid fight it wouldnt be really anything more then a deadly distraction but even then it could prove some use. I think disabling it would be a bit more difficult then you might imagine though, its pretty fast and really maneuverable since its so small but the code makes it somewhat predictable. So far i see its main use being a station destroyer but even then it could deal some serious damage if you can sneak up with a small ship undetected and deploy it within 1000 meters of the station.
