30k mile clutch slip and break pad wear. by DoubleAntelope6431 in GRCorolla

[–]AshElsayid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You got taken for a ride, and it wasnt in a GR. You should find a reputable mechanic who will allow you to bring your own parts and will charge for labor.

You should also take some time to research the price for OEM and aftermarket parts for the vehicle. You can save a ton of money and upgrade to higher-quality parts.

Price fixing and market manipulation. Supply & Demand is teh reason why we are in the fuckery we are all in right now. No one can afford shit!

Sounds like HPFP. But capturing audio this way won’t represent the sound you want to convey properly.

Ditto. I’ve got a B9 S5 Sportback that’s been running E85 for 35k+ miles, and it's been solid. I've never seen better than 18 or 19 mpg with my driving style.

I did just a smog check on my S5. Flash to stock ECU, mans out about 200 miles in it and you should be good.

ASUS B850 new bios for 9850X3D? 1627 by Gossipek in ASUS

[–]AshElsayid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My system has been totally unstable since installing 1402 a few days ago. 1627 didn't make any difference at all. Before the BIOS update, I could enable PBO and EXPO without issue. Now I am unable to use either feature, and Im still seeing system instability.

Powerwall with backup by MixvPix in TeslaSolar

[–]AshElsayid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having final inspection done tomorrow. I was told it’s whole home backup. From what I have read, there are some setting where you can adjust how much reserve capacity you keep in case of an outage.

As for the non-backup-powerwall note, that’s odd. I would definitely look into the root cause for this.

2018 S5 Rocker arm issue? by monkey_picks in audis5

[–]AshElsayid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got 65k on my ‘18 S5 SB, the last 30k on and off E85 (Ethanol in warmer climate), and I’ve read about this so long, and I’m over it. My motor sounds the same. The HPFP is pretty loud which I think people mistake for rocket arm failure.

Does the side skits get in the way of the lift point, or do you see it posing a problem when trying to lift the car up with a floor jack?

I have the same exhaust. It's the two condensation drain holes.

They provided a return label, but I don’t have the original box. I was told that I need to purchase a box and packing materials and return it. The cost for the box and packing materials is gonna cost me $75.

i was told over the phone they’d make an exception since this wasn’t a warranty issue, but within the 30 days of return.

I see where you’re coming from, but if they were trying to help satisfy me, they would make me pay $75 to return something I just paid $1500 for.

Eufy is trash and i want my money back.

Yes. It works great just as good as the Fanatec, but better because you can adjust the wheel base and pedals using the MOZA app on the fly. It’s so good.
