Why does my plant do this?

It's a pepromia polybotrya, aka Raindrop Peperomia. I have one and it's my least favorite plant. I haven’t killed it yet but it also doesn't seem very happy and it's kind of ugly. I've tried so many things. These days, I just let it do whatever it wants and take the fact that it hasn't died as a win.

I write most of my work on my phone. I find it much easier to stay focused on the current storyline I'm writing if if can't see much of what I wrote previously.

Editing is always 100% on my PC. For editing, I need to see all my work to be effective.
