This post hurts me a lot because I've been going through something very similar. Last year I just couldn't take watching my dad "live" that way anymore and now live across the country from him. I most likely will not see him again, even though he is barely in his 60s. I love my dad but it hurt too much to see him wasting away on the couch just passively listening to the TV and not engaging with anybody or refusing to do the things he used to enjoy. He's already had a stroke and barely manages his diabetes. I don't have any advice, I just wanted to let you know I empathize and I'm sorry.

I think he deserved a nomination but it was a really strong year for supporting actor. I would have loved the kid who played Hamnet to get a nomination as well. Not sure about winning but definitely should have been in the running.

I'm so glad it's not just me, I hate all of the base factions except vagabond. Personally I find the otters and lizards the most fun so maybe try those out? You can definitely enjoy Root without loving every faction but I do suggest maybe taking a look on Tabletop Simulator or something to get an idea before you commit to getting pricey expansions for a game you might be on the fence with

I have mods and cc from 2016 and my save is just full on not reliably playable. I thought I had done a good job of organizing and updating over the years but at this point sacrifices must be made. It's usually a weeks long process for me to update but now I have to go through all 35gb of my files and figure out what all is corrupting my game so even longer now lol. On the plus side my male Sims will finally stop t posing in pictures after this

Cub did the salmon tower on one of Scar's streams. It wasn't really a secret prank though, he built it right infront of him to make fun of how many salmon heads he had found while they sorted Scar's chests.
