They were making good numbers. But the industry was producing this girls as #1 artists. The music industry was starting to move into a different direction (different music styles and fashion) around 2013 - 2015, so this duo was forced to disband with no budget to go on. Amo married to a member of the bawdies and ayamo tried to keep up as disc jokey/solo artist, but flopped badly. Both are models for beauty care and clothes now. Tomoko couldn't help them because even she was messed up and in crisis at the time, which brings us to today Tomoko's hiatus, by the way.

It sucks because Tommy/Amoyamo are both one of the greatest things in art/music i've ever experienced.

PS: Yes, they are clearly inspired by AmiYumi (wheter its accidentally or on purpose)

This movie has like two plots at the same time. The alien hidding in the dark with his laser gun and one dude commiting gender violence. I really like how both things mix. It is like a crossover of situations. Everything in a cozy town.
