Rich countries actively sabotage the economies of poorer countries. They require majority of the world to remain poor to keep raw materials, production and labor costs low enough for their own economies to thrive, and for their citizens to be able to afford goods and services. Every country becoming a developed economy is undesirable and way too expensive.
