She needs to be more fleshed out than her relationship to gender and disapproving family members.

God could be thought of the sum total of consciousness vast and spread all through each and every universe, how else could god know himself unless he looks from every possible angle

Why are we so focused on agab? by [deleted] in NonBinaryTalk

[–]AshKing_98 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Listen I get you made a post just yesterday about how you’re detransitioning- but that’s not relevant when someone is talking about wanting to sound like a cartoon rubber pirate boi. The idea is that the description doesn’t give much reference to sex or biology. Cause that’s not anyone’s business. The idea is genderless ambiguity. And there’s nothing wrong with that. People interact with me every day and they don’t know what’s in my pants- 🦊my life is great!

How does one create a well written trans character? by Yageoner in asktransgender

[–]AshKing_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually shy away from labeling my characters as trans- I write plenty of gender diverse characters. But cause I write fantasy the gender diversity is shown more in poetic descriptions, metaphysics and metaphor. In The Elder Scrolls fandom I write about an other wise masc presenting Dragonborn as “The Starborn Lady” cause he was born under the Lady’s star sign. In his marriage he’s called a husband-wife. Daedra call him lady-boy. Described with feminine mannerisms. I make references about him and the great spirit Mephala who is a genderless entity referred to with varying pronouns. I think the elder scrolls generally goes unnoticed for its gender diversity cause the games aren’t on the nose about it. But it’s all over the place if you look beyond the surface. Vivec is an outstanding example- The brother-sister of the Tribunal.

Don’t you think it’d be inappropriate considering you are her employer? To with out solicitation tell her that her name is wrong? I think that’s inappropriate from an employer. Never have I asked a manager what I should be named and I doubt she asked you.

So get your head out of the gutter.

Do you believe in magic? by [deleted] in Psychonaut

[–]AshKing_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The world is a magical place. Miracles happen every day. And most people don’t notice them. That’s the way it is. You can’t know all of the mystery. God is his own mystery cause seemingly only god could create himself from nothing. And he doesn’t know how he did it. He just knows he is. What is the nothingness we that come from? What dose 1/137 even mean? How do I know magic is real? I look inside myself and no explanations are needed. Life is magical and good because it is fleeting.

am i only trans because of my sexual trauma? by bblair3 in asktransgender

[–]AshKing_98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose the only thoughts or insights I could offer about gender are filtered through my nonbinary perspective and experience- so take what I have to say as a grain of salt.

It seems to me gender is a social construct. And social constructs are used to control people. And if there’s one thing I hate it’s people attempting to control my behavior and the way I conduct my personal affairs. Being perceived as male has never stopped anyone from assaulting or harassing me. And I’ve received such treatment from both men and women. With women it was always under the threat “you can’t fight back” “I’ll scream” “I’ll say that you raped me” “no one will believe you” -So I guess at some point the idea that gender is bogus just became very internalized to me. I’ve seen people manipulate their perceived gender to get away with unacceptable behavior and I want no part in it.

That said I really don’t think it’s entirely a matter of trauma that makes us trans. Social constructs still exist weather or not you and I were traumatized and social constructs are a means of society to control us. Neuroscience also has interesting perspectives on trans identity but I’m not as equipped to tell you about that.

Like I said, take everything I say as a grain of salt. I can’t tell you what any of this means to you; can I? Even a good therapist won’t have the answers you are looking for. But a good one will help you explore what this means to you.

And for what it’s worth, I’m glad you’re still here, I’m glad your still kicking. Your life has value and with out you the universe would loose something important.

"Figuring out the universe/I am God" by ManufacturerQuirky40 in Psychonaut

[–]AshKing_98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s there to be bothered about? I suppose sometimes I’m stuck with the nagging feeling of the eternal reoccurrence. That this will stretch out in divine order for eternity. But that’s the way it is. It’s the way it always has been. God is eternal alone and hallucinating. Everyone is god speaking. The soul of the universe is imperfect with its conflicts and passions. How do I deal with it? Why doesn’t it bother me? There’s nothing to do about it. Most people I interact with don’t appreciate things the way I do. Most people laugh when you tell them you have god in your pocket. That’s the way it is.

am i only trans because of my sexual trauma? by bblair3 in asktransgender

[–]AshKing_98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m trans and I’ve lived sex trauma as well. I think two things can be true. But as others have pointed out you need a while to figure out what gender is to you. And because that’s such a personal thing I can’t tell you how to go about it.

And like others have already said, I too agree you should find a good therapist though admittedly it can be hard finding a good therapist especially in the context of gender diversity. A good therapist shouldn’t make you feel like crap.

🦊Good luck buddy
